Chapter 1: The Bus
WILL'S POV
A new school year at Sky High. Can't you hear the cheers in the background?
I'm going into my sophomore year at Sky High School, which means seniors were leaving and freshmen were arriving.
NORMAL POV
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in," he called. The door opened and in came his girl friend, Layla. It'd been almost a year they'd been going out.
Last year was... eventful to say the least. Royal Pain almost turned everyone into babies at the homecoming and raised them all as villains.
"Hey, Will," greeted Layla, kissing him lightly. "Are you ready for another year at Sky High?"
"Sure, I guess," he replied. "Let's go."
Will's parents went to France just an hour ago. Why? Who knows? Probably to pick up some lunch or something. Will and Layla walked out the front door, hand in hand, and made their way to the bus stop.
As the bus pulled up, they noticed the new bus driver. She was an old looking lady. Her white bush of hair somehow held down by a yellow hat all the bus drivers were supposed to wear. Will read the name tag.
Mrs. Newman
"Well, what're you two waitin' for? Get in," she urged them.
"So you're our new bus driver?" asked Layla.
"Looks like," replied Mrs. Newman smartly.
Will and Layla sat down in the front, taking a quick look around the bus before doing so. There were at least two new faces. A boy and a girl. The girl looked sweet but shy and the boy looked mean. Will thought it weird by the way they looked for them to be sitting with each other. He sat down, the bus drove off, and they neared the dead end in the road. He watched the two new-comers with interest as the seat belts criss-crossed around them and the bus took flight.
The girl began to scream and the boy just gripped onto the seat in front of him. Will laughed. They must've been new.
Thanks for reading this far. The first chapters are always short and stupid for me. I promise they'll get better as the fic continues (and I find a plot! X3)
