The Doctor never understood why he loved Earth so much. No, it wasn't Earth he loved: it was the humans. One day he will find out why he felt bonded to the human race…like he felt as as if he was their guardian - their protector. It is because he was ordered to. Not by the Time Lords, the order came directly out of his mouth.

The Doctor had just lost the love of his life—Rose Tyler. He met a woman who went by the name Donna Noble. Together, they had the adventure of a life time…but he was alone once more. And for good reason. Donna shouldn't be dragged along into The Doctors mess. So, here he was, alone again in the TARDIS. He flipped a switch, one that was supposed to send him off on another adventure…somewhere on Earth.

"No…no that's not that quite right…" The Doctor said to himself. A voice came from the TARDIS console. It was his voice…but it wasn't his. It was the voice of the ninth incarnation of the doctor. It said: "This is emergency protocol number seventy-four. I am coming Doctor. There is no time to explain." "Wait a second…emergency protocol seventy four? No…no that's impossible! That means…my TARDIS is going to collide with another!" The Doctor shouted, again to himself. He was used to explaining things to Rose. "Right…I suppose I sound like a lunatic, don't I? Blimey, I am a lunatic." The Doctor said…once more to himself. The TARDIS entered the time stream. If this really was emergency protocol seventy-four, it meant that two TARDIS were going to collide, and the TARDIS's would belong to the same person. The TARDIS began speeding back in time, and The Doctor barely had time to hold onto the console before it stopped, very suddenly. The front doors bursted open, and a man flew through them. He stood up. It was The Doctor…the ninth doctor. A TARDIS wire exploded, and the light went out.

"It's alright." Nine said. "Just a minor rewiring, since we crossed timelines, our TARDIS's crossed as well. It's trying to decide what to do with the look."

"I know." The Doctor replied. "Now tell me, what did you do this for?"

"Something incredible, Doctor. Something horrifyingly incredible."

"And what is that?"

"I just got the message myself. It was sent from The Time Lords, believe it or not. It was a message to us. They knew that we would live, that The Doctor would make it out of the Time War. But we aren't the only ones. The humans…Doctor…the humans are all Time Lord."
