AN: My first PJO fic! Yay! I'm sorry that it's really short, but I just got the idea to write it, but didn't really have an idea of what would happen in it. Sorry.
It was just another ordinary day in Elysium. Well, maybe it was daytime, it could have been nighttime but no one would know because it was the in underworld.
Charles Beckendorf was just there, not doing much (he was dead after all), and he was waiting. Waiting, waiting, waiting. He hoped that it wouldn't be very long until he could see her again, but he did also want her to have a long and happy life. He wanted her to be happy, and he thought that maybe if she did live to be old she would probably fall in love again-which he didn't want- but he knew he would see her someday, she would definitely make it to Elysium. He just didn't want her to forget him.
He was just there thinking about her when suddenly the gates opened. He turned to look to see who it was.
It was her. His amazing girlfriend, the prettiest daughter of Aphrodite, Silena Beauregard, looking as beautiful as ever. She turned and noticed him. They glided over to each other-not breaking eye contact, as if if they blinked, the other would disappear- until the were face to face.
"I'm sorry," Silena whispered. "Your death, it was all my fault." If ghosts could cry she would be bawling.
"I don't blame you," Beckendorf replied. "It was Kronos. He was messing with you. And I have no problem with death. It's quiet, peaceful."
"I'm sorry," she said again. Beckendorf reached his arms out to hug her, but they just went through her, because they were both ghosts.
"Come, there's barbecue," he said, "and if anyone deserves eternity in peace, its you. We will be together, forever."
And together they glided off, together forever-just like they said- in Elysium.
