Petaldawn pressed her muzzle against Lilyfur's as the beautiful flame-colored tabby she-cat shuddered at the pain and the strength of the last life.
"I've missed you," Lilyfur panted as the pain subsided.
"I've missed you too Lilyfur, I miss all the hunting patrols we used to go on together, I long for the warmth and the feeling of your fur against mine in the warriors den on a cold night, I miss the games we used to play as kits together in the nusery, but don't be anxious my sister… I'll always be with you, always."
"Nooo! Don't go!" Lilyfur yowled as Petaldawn was starting to fade.
"Remember what I said. I'll always be with you. My dear sister, my Clan leader, Lilystar."
