Beyond looked into the mirror and grinned, oh wait till L sees. He had managed to replicate the older boy perfectly, even managing the crooked posture and he was sure L wouldn't mind him borrowing his clothes. Beyond noticed movement behind him in the mirror and turned to see L. "What do you think Lawli?" He questioned, bringing his thumb to his lip, Beyond even managed to copy the boys monotonous speech.
L stared at him "Backup, I think it would be best if you were to go back to your room before I call Roger and Watari."
Beyonds eyes flashed, "Firstly L, I am NOT your Backup! Secondly, I went through a lot of effort to look like this the least you could do is appreciate it!"
L didn't react to him "Backup, please leave."
Beyond darted forward and grabbed his wrist "Oh Lawli, you should really be nicer to me." He pulled on L's wrist and dragged him in front of the mirror "You see we are exactly the same." he pointed to the mirror where both of their reflections stared back and smiled.
L tried to pull his wrist away "If you do not leave this instance I will have no choice to report you to Watari."
Beyond smirked as L continued to struggle in attempts to free his wrist. With his free hand Beyond pulled L's phone out of his pocket "I assume you were going to call him with this." L struggled more "Well then." he muttered before throwing the phone to the floor causing it to shatter.
"Beyond!" L yelled, finally beginning to become worried.
"Ah, yes Lawli?" Beyond questioned sweetly pulling L towards him.
"Let me go!" L demanded.
Beyond smirked as L pulled against his grip and let go, causing L to fall backwards "As you wish." Beyond started laughing, his broken cackle at the sight of L on the floor. "I do hope we can play some games another time." he commented before leaving.
As Beyond shoot the door a grin spread across his face, he knew the perfect game to play. He started walking to Alternates room and began singing "Hush, hush, hush, here comes the bogeyman, don't let him get to close to you he'll catch you if he can..."
Whammy's house awoke to the sound of a scream, Alternate was hanging from a rafter in the main lobby, his body was discovered by a young girl. Beyond Birthday was no where to be found and although there was no proof to definitely say Beyond had had a hand in Alternatives death, L knew and years later when people started dying in Los Angeles L knew again.
