Duo was very bright and cheerful most of the time; he very much liked to goof off.
Heero was stoic and silent; he was a human weapon after all. He had been trained to feel nothing.
They fought side by side, not always getting along. After a while they gained a sense of respect for one another.
But who would have thought that one day they would gain much more?
Who would have conceived the notion that they would come to not only rely on each other, but also learn to love each other?
Not too long ago Duo would have laughed it off; Heero would have scoffed and perhaps gotten a threatening gleam in his eye.
Now however they not only fight to better the world, but they fight for one another.
