SONIC'S P. O. V
I sat at the park watching Amy talk to strangers. She insisted on getting their opinion on a new perfume she made. It smelled like roses, and she calls it rose fragrance thing is she won't tell what she put in it. I don't bother to care about it much but she claims it has a certain bats ingredients instructions whatever that meant. Probably meaning, Rouge gave her some stuff to mix into whatever it started off from. I didn't care but I was Happy to have a break from Amy.
She has been talking all day. Not that I don't care about her, she is one of my friends but… sometimes it's just hard to listen ya know?
"Sonic!" Tails chipped happily flying over to me. "Hey tails" i said to the Kitsune. "Long time no see."
"Hah, like always." Tails smiled.
"I have been working for days on a certain invention for a certain awesome best friend." my eyes widened a bit with excitement. Earlier this week I guess I complained to much about eggman's recurring attacks picking up, and how often they became. It was exhausting after a while. So tails said he was gonna make some sort of formula to alter something or…Well I can't say I was listening then. This blue blur needed a break and my amazing friend saw that.
He could use one too.
We sat uncomfortable in the lab because of the anxious feeling that was present, from tails getting nervous.
Amy sat boredly moving stuff around, trying to organize and find something to do.
She set her perfume on the same table as tails mixtures of whatever they were called. I gave a thumbs up to tails, trying to let him now it's ok. He hadn't tested it yet entirely but it was interesting to be there in Case.
Tails started to pour the bright green liquid into the shallow orange foamy 'lookin mixture. I watched impatiently… man… was I bored.
I watched Amy for a bit while tails worked. She noticed me watching her and waved. Amy recently has been saying stuff such as "my sonikku" Or "hi sonikku!" Which has honestly not bugged me up until she claimed I was 'her sonikku'. I didn't have any real ideas for anyone. I think I like being single but amy scowls at me for thinking so. She is nice and all but a bit immature.
Tails yelped as a red vile spilled onto a purple one, then causing it to….turn pink? Amy seemed amazed but I wasn't taking chances. I quickly. .. Quickly grabbed tails and carried him away from it at a safe distance. I went back for Amy seeing the stuff start to look like sand. It was questioning but who am I to complain? I rushed Amy to tails. It started to bubble. "Looks like bubble sand tails." I said. tails frowned and tilted his head. "It isn't supposed to?" He said confused. I furrowed a brow before Amy grabbed my arm in panic.
"Sonikku my perfume!!!" She said. I sighed knowing she would be made at me if I didn't get it. I rushed back to grab it seeing the sand madly bubble. The second my hand made contact with Amy's perfume, the sand exploded strangely. It got hard to breathe and the smoke stung my eyes. I coughed. I suddenly felt drowsy… tired.. And weak.
Why am I tired? Is it the smoke? I fell to my knees hearing Amy and tails yell.
But I couldn't move. I fell and everything….went… dark.
Tails P.O.V
"Sonic?" I said in question. I didn't know what Happened to sonic after the mixtures I created, clashed.
Smoke was everywhere, I had to cautiously back Amy away from it. We can't see sonic. The smoke is so thick. I heard a thud and me and any yell for sonic.
No response. What happened to sonic? Is he ok?
