Prompt: Song Title: You Don't Know Her Like I Do – Brantley Gilbert
~/~/~/~/~/~/~/~
Jax Teller was fed up in dealing with his ex. He really wished that she would get a clue and realize that he would never take her back. Yes, he had been hurt when she left all those years ago, but when she came back and he saw her he realized that she meant nothing to him anymore and maybe just maybe she never meant as much to him as he thought she had. When he felt rather than heard her following him down the hallway he spun around and glared at her. "Fuck, Tara, when are you going to get a clue? I don't want you! The only thing I want is for you to leave me the hell alone."
Tara narrowed her eyes at Jax. "You don't mean that, Jackson. You know that we are meant to be together. You know that we are soulmates. Why are you fighting this so much?"
Jax shook his head. "Tara, when I look at you I feel nothing. In fact anytime I see you I want to turn the other way because just seeing you makes me feel disgusted. How in the fuck you can think that you could leave for ten years and then come back and that everything would be the same is beyond me. I am happy where I'm at in my life. I have a son who needs me and that I love. I have feelings for someone else and I'll be damned if I'm going to let you ruin that before it even gets started."
Tara scoffed. "Are you talking about the little blonde headed bimbo that happens to be a nurse, Jax? Do you really think she could handle being with you? I seriously doubt that she could."
Jax glared at Tara with white hot anger coursing through his veins. "If I were you I would shut the fuck up, Tara. Not everybody is like you. Besides you're just jealous. However to set your mind at ease I will tell you that you don't know her like I do. She has already seen me at my worst and she has yet to walk away unlike you. Now I would appreciate it if you would leave me the hell alone because if you don't I will make sure that your name is ruined in this town."
He stalked off before Tara could open her mouth to respond. He wasn't sure how he ever put up with her voice when they were younger because now it just grated on his nerves every single time he heard it.
