It all started yesterday in the evening, right before my daily call to my leaders, the Tallest. I called them up onto the screen and told them my progress, "All has been well my Tallest."

"Well that's just fantastic!" snapped Red.

I was startled by his reply.

"Should we tell him?" Purple asked his co-leader.

"Yes it's definitely better than an existent evaluation." Red retorted.

A chill ran down my spine. Why would the Tallest give me one of those? "Wha. What are you talking about?" I stammered nervously.

Purple sighed, "You're mission was a lie Zim."

"Yes, It was all just a part of which to get rid of you." Red sneered.

No, I thought, it can't be!

Purple, noticing my confusement swallowed and added, "So you can stop calling us now."

"Yeah, just leave us alone!" Red laughed.

"What am I going to do now?" I asked.

Purple being a little bit nicer than Red told me quietly, "I don't know, whatever you want, just don't come back."

"Well what about my S.I.R.?" I stuttered.

"He's garbage, I mean come on! He has loose change in his head! I'm surprised he works at all!" Red snorted for the last time. "Goodbye forever Zim!"

The screen went blank and I sat there, staring into the blackness after them. Eventually I fell asleep. The thoughts swarming around in my head. Gir woke me up in the morning as he usually does.

"Wake up master!" he chirped in his childish voice, "Time to go that place that smells like old baloney!"

My antennae drooped and my eyes were cloudy as I stared at him.

"What's wrong master?" he asked as he cocked his head to one side.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I lied.

I walked into class right when the bell rang.

"So Zim, what are you plotting today?" Dib crazed.

I just looked at him and laid my head on my desk when I sat down. At lunch I sat down by myself and poked at the food absently.

Dib walked over and laughed maniacally, "Some day Zim I will expose you for the alien scum you are!"

"Go away Dib-monster." I droned, "please."

Dib,surprised at me for saying that, marched away to join his sister. She just growled and pushed his face into his tray.

I walked into my house, passing Gir along the way to my lab. He was the only who has kept me alive. He always comforted me in a way and talked, sorry squealed me out of committing suicide when I was tired of Dib causing me too much grief. As I walked slowly down the long aisles of weapons I paid close attention to the lasers. I grabbed one and looked it over carefully, it should work. I reached behind me and pressed a button on my Pak. It fell off and clattered to the metal floor.

Gir sat watching the Scary Monkey Show when all of a sudden a loud bang and violent trembling erupted from the bowels of the earth. He jumped up and looked around, but after seeing nothing sat down and shrugged. Deep down in my lab I lay in a growing pool of blood staring sadly at the ceiling. My eyes began to lose their luster and started to slowly close. My life was meaningless.
