Slowly, trying to avoid the creaky floorboards, I slip out of bed and tip toe over to my closet. I change into a dark green t-shirt and jeans. I silently creep across the room to retrieve my high tops and back pack. I've been packed for weeks. I finally worked up the courage tonight to leave. This mission results in me enter the heart of the scarlet hands territory. Mom and Granny and basically the whole army refused to let me go but I have to. Pucks been captured by that Hand. I cant just let them torture information out of him. I cant just leave him. He's been my "enemy" for years. If he dies, though I wont admit it to anyone, a piece of me will die to. I grab my leather jacket off a hook on the wall of my living quarters. This war has been going on for 4 years. Being 17, i'm the captan of squad 6. The other girls in my squad lie, sleeping in the other 15 rooms of the wooden cabin. There are 20 such cabins at camp Grimm. Charming resigned after the second year. "Couldn't take the stress" he said. Jake steeped in and was elected as the new leader. Puck and I share the role of second in command, but seeing as how the idiot got himself captured, the title, for now, is solely mine. I put on the jacket and pick up my pack. I stride over to the window and swiftly, in one fueled motion, I open it. A slight creak echos threw my room. I hold my breath and listen. Thankfully, almost everyone in my squad sleeps like Daphne. When the coast is clear, I lower my pack to the ground and silently thank god for having a first floor bedroom. I stick my leg out first, followed by my head. When booth of my feet are planted on the ground, I take a wrinkled piece of paper out of the front pocket of my bag and stick it between the wooden border and the glass pane, on the inside of the window. Scribed on it in my neat hand writeing is this.

Puck is to important. We cant just leave him there to die.

Don't send anyone after me. It will be hard enough sneaking

in by myself, let alone with people tailing me. Ill be back.

Sabrina

p.s Daphne, don't you dare eat my sour patch kids.

Sweet and to the point. Someone will find it in the morning. I slid the window shut and slip into the shadows. When I reach the wall I quickly find footing and begin to climb. It took me months to find this spot. Sneaking out is hard when you live at any army base. Puck found this section of the wall. Its right behind the Mess hall out in the open but still concealed by the shadow of one of the watch towers. If you climb slowly its almost imposable to be sean. I reach the top and look back on last time. "Its ok" I whisper to my self. "The next time your here, you'll be with puck". With that I slip over the other side and drop the 15 feet to the ground. I land with a light crunch and disappear into the forest.
