she was driving through the thick forest when she heard the explosion. Stopping at a clearing she stepped out of the rover and looked up and just as she was expecting there was a bright projectile hurtling down to earth. She had been counting the days till the return of the delinquents and had been expecting them for a few days. a loud bang announced their landing, a few mountains further. She quickly entered the rover and raced to the scene.

Upon arriving she saw a mass of broken glass, burnt wood and bent metal. But no living soul in sight, no sign of survival. It was then that Clarke felt the most alone in the past five years. They did not make it.

The soft crunching of a leave told her there was someone standing behind her. In one swift motion Clarke took her gun and turned around, pointing in the direction of the sound.

'Clarke?'

her heart stopped beating. 'Monty?'

Suddenly she started running without realizing it, but so did Monty. they met halfway in a bone crushing hug.

'Clarke, you're alive! I can't believe this' Monty kept repeating.

The commotion must have been loud enough for the others to hear, because seconds later she felt a second pair of arms around her. she looked up and recognized Raven's ponytail. Hugging her back, more and more arms joined and soon Clarke was surrounded by her friends, all sobbing and talking at the same time. It took them a few minutes before the let go of her, but when they did she could see their faces and their smiles. she returned those with the brightest smile she had since landing on this damned earth. The reunion seemed perfect, like in a fairytale, but there was something missing, or someone.

'Bellamy' she whispered looking at Raven.

The girl only nodded and looked uphill behind Clarke. Following her gaze, Clarkes eyes met those incredible brown eyes for the first time in five years. He stood there, looking like he had seen a ghost. Which was kind of true. Clarke and Bellamy came back in motion at the same time. and mere seconds later they were locked in an embrace.

'You made it. You survived.' he murmured

Clarke laughed softly in response. 'Did you ever doubted me?'

Bellamy pushed back only a little and looked her deep in the eyes. 'Never'

In the end no one knew who kissed who, but it's not like it mattered. All that mattered was that that was the perfect start of their new lives on the ground. They knew it would be okay, they had eachother.
