Disclaimer: I wanted to… But I don't…

Few weeks more… A few weeks more and it is the start of the seventh year N.E.W.T. Exams. One student namely Lily Evans, is scrambling all her notes in the Heads Common Room, color coding her schedules and summarizing up her notes, then the rain started pouring down. She sighed.

It wasn't a good thing if the rain is starting to pour. "It's okay. It'll pass by… Soon the sun will be up shining once again."

Lily hates the rain. When she was younger, she would love dancing in the rain, playing in the rain, singing in the rain… But as years passed by, it was never a good thing when it's raining. All misfortunes happen in the rain. She thought that that day was no exception.

The portrait hall opened, revealing a whistling James Potter. How dare he be happy in the rain! Sure, James Potter is her friend, after everything that happened in her 5th year, but being happy in the rain is not forgivable.

"Hey Lilykins!"

Great, She thought. She wasn't really in the mood to joke around. "What?" she snapped looking up from her messy work.

"Woah! Hold on, there beautiful miss! Is there something wrong?" He asked in his cocky arrogant smirk that wanted Lily to raise her hand and slap him across. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

You've got a bad timing there James Potter.

James frowned. Usually, Lily would ride on his jokes and laugh with him. But today's not a usual day.

"Is there something wrong, Lily?" *sigh* He finally turned serious. And he better did. Or else he's going to receive a curse. *shudders*

"It's the rain." Lily grumbled, not looking up from her desk, furiously scribbling down notes. "I hate it."

James' mouth made a comical shape of 'o' then looked outside. He scratched the back of his head, "Oh? I thought you love the rain."

Lily sighed and turned her parchment. "Correction: I loved the rain."

James looked at her, then back at the rain. Then, back at her again. "Well, we can't let that happen." A plan is forming in his mind and Lily could feel it. Marauder indeed!

"Come on." He said happily, dragging her out of her work, making her fall on her bum. Lily glared at him ferociously, while standing up and brushing her skirt. James smiled and held her wrist, then dragged her out of the common room.

"Just where are we going?" Lily hissed, so low, in an attempt to tell James that she's not happy of what they're doing or what they're going to do. Well, the keyword is in an attempt.

"Just wait." James said, grinning mysteriously.

Before Lily knew it, they're outside, in the rain dripping wet. "POTTER! WHAT THE HELL-"

Whatever Lily's going to curse about, however, is broken off. Because a grinning James just kissed her… full on the lips, encircling his arms around her waist.

From that day on, Lily love the rain.

There you go… I wanted to make it long but… I don't have much time.

Before you leave anyway, don't forget to leave a little message for me!

Lots of love,
