First attempt at a fanfiction, note I use no speach marks.

Ugh I feel like there's a weight on my chest, howl moaned as he blinked groggily to see Sophie's beaming face above him. A hearts a heavy burden she said lovingly and smiled. Sophie your hair looks like starlight, it's beautiful!

You think so? So do I!

And with that Sophie threw herself on Howl he caught her and she kissed him. The long awaited kiss. She couldn't stop smiling and she could feel Howl's lips smiling under hers, They broke of the kiss and Howl reached up to cradle her face with his hand. She was surprised at how soft and smooth her skin felt under his touch, then she gasped. She propped herself up on her elbows and looked at her hands, her young, supple skinned hands. Oh! She gasped and reached up to feel her cheeks, was it true was she really young again? But she lost her balance and fell onto Howls warm chest. He burst into laughter hugged her close and kissed the top of her head.

I think your turnip friend is saying something important he whispered into her ear and stood up helping Sophie to her feet. Sophie brushed the dust off her skirt with her hands and turned to hear his words…

My friends, Howl said turning to look at them all, his glance lingered on Sophie's shining eyes. I think a place to stay is in order!

We're moving again, Marcel said happily clapping his hands, where are we going to stay? Kingsbury? New Haven?

Where would you like to stay Sophie? Howl asked.

Sophie shrugged I liked staying everywhere really she said. Howl paused to think then he grabbed Sophie's hand. Everyone make a circle he said. I will need all of your magic for this. Calcifer moved into the middle of their wonky little circle. Now, Howl said. Close your eyes. And they all did. A wave of heat washed over them as Calcifer shot into the sky in a ball of flames.

You can open them now Howl said somewhat smugly. They all gasped they were standing in the castle as it had been but wait. It was as if the castle and the house behind the hat shop had melted into one. Shining oak floors, a large fireplace for Calcifer, winding stairs leading up onto a new floor with a wide balcony. It's beautiful Sophie smiled. Marcel whooped and ran off to explore. Come Sophie I have something to show you. Howl took Sophie's hand and led her to the front door. They were standing in Howl's garden and it was just as magical as it had been when Sophie had first laid eyes on it. Howl led her down to the lake and they stared out over the turquoise pools of water. The little round islands pouring over with an array of flowers trailing their petals in the water like a weeping willow. Howl stood behind Sophie and wrapped his arms around her shoulders they swayed from side to side in the gentle softly perfumed breeze. Without looking at him Sophie asked, what did you mean when you said you needed all of our magic? Howl pressed his face in her hair. Don't you realize Sophie? You have magical powers of your own. You lifted the curse yourself.

Sophie reached her hand up to touch his face and he caught it and pressed it to his lips. Sophie realized she was blushing but she felt like she belonged here with Howl like the bond they shared lasted longer than both of their lifetimes. Howl turned her to face him and as she looked up into his eyes the weight of everything suddenly crashed down on her shoulders. Tears welled up in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She pressed her face into Howls chest and balled up her fists against his shirt. Howl hugged her to him leaning his chin on the top of her head. Then after a moment he reached down and took her chin and pulled it up then their lips met and they kissed deeply Sophie's tears wet against both of their cheeks.
