#11 Memory
They sat there looking down at the village. No words were needed to understand that they were thankful for the others company.
They both understood each other. Naruto said nothing, because he knew the other appreciated the quietness.
Sasuke wanted to thank Naruto, but he knew if he spoke Naruto would not ever be this quiet again. So they just sat there overlooking the village. They sat and thought about what the future would hold for them.
Many scary thoughts popped into their heads along with very few enjoyable possibilities. Yes even Naruto had a slight doubt that he wouldn't be able to become Hokage, though he would keep trying nonetheless.
Sasuke had doubts that he would one day be able to kill his brother. He had no other ideas about how to gain more power and accomplish his goal. He wasn't going to ask for help, but he knew that if he ever needed help he could always count on one person.
Both Sasuke and Naruto understood without any words between them that they could count on one another.
That was the night they became friends, but will their friendship be able to last through the hardships they will face in the future.
