Disclaimer: I don't own Life on Mars, nor the characters of Sam Tyler, Gene Hunt, and Annie Cartwright. They belong to Kudos Film and Television, and the BBC. This story is written for entertainment purposes only. No copyright infringement intended.
Timeline: 1980, in the wilderness years between Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes.
Author's Note: I wrote this awhile back, and thought it wouldn't hurt to post it. I adore Life on Mars, and actually have a full-fledged (crossover) fic half-finished that I hope to return to one of these days. Until then, there's this drabble. Hope you enjoy.
