Castiel's fins flair around the pale sunlight catching in wavy steams across the blue. It feels warm and inviting and every fear of being close to the surface is always a distant memory when these rays of light touch him. They glide seamlessly over his scales, his fins rippling with the soft currents of the sea. With each movement, the light hits new spots, bringing him closer and closer to the safe place he loves so much. The light and heat combined give him a mix of gratitude and pleasure as his God created these blissful feelings. Never ending, always rising up the next day and he couldn't ever ask for more than the beauty that is this. The feelings wash over him when he floats aimlessly towards the surface, becoming closer and increasingly warmer. The heat bearing into his skin and the only notice he takes of it ever leaving is when the push of his tail move him faster than he would like. Though all is worth it as his face breaks the surface, fins rippling against the harsher waves of the oncoming storm from the East. The sun beats onto his skin and another wave of calm floods over his fins, practically coursing through him. His captivated heart over this scene and beauty soars with glee, the emptiness the cold ocean floor below long forgotten.

His worries, his troubles, his cares are all washed away by the simple beauty that is his God in the making. His grasp on reality fades as does the lids over his eyes, closing to relish over the heat that are the hands of his God grasping hold of him, lifting him high and whispering the cool breaths over his skin. The wind blows, the same whispers gliding through his fins on the sides of his head and his back that leads shivers slipping through his veins far below the surface. His fingers twitch through the pleasure, through the mind that has long lost it's owner and has been taken by no other than the sun, waves, and flurry of soft wing bristling past.

His tail slowly rises and with the break of it through the waves, Castiel nearly melts in the glorious feeling. The soft spray of salt-water across his tail, hugging every curve and fin and scale combined with the breath of the sun's rays is heavenly. There was no better term to describe the feeling other than the true beauty his heaven has to give. The thought even passes through and his deep-throated laugh disturbs his peace, leaving him with the fading thought of how glorious this heaven would feel everywhere… out of the ocean. He allows his tail to slowly fall beneath the surface, fins still rippling under the cold currents that drifts him in various directions.

Castiel's eyes open, the position of the sun now lower than before, breaking the horizon and the hat begins to fade, leaving him with the cold reminder that his peace is over. The thought fleets his mind with a tug of his tail that pulls his face down below the surface. The skin prickles and leaves him uncomfortable after the sun had dried the water off of his chin to the top of his head. Once his eyes adjust to the familiar waters around him, he could see the amber tail that belongs to his older brother wave about, gesturing for him to follow. Castiel leaves one last glance up at the surface before following after, soon swimming in sync with the shorter male. His scales shiver from the heat his family will give him for betraying the rules, but his mind ignores the thought, the still pleasant heat deep in his memory.
