Near POV

The wind picked up as I walked down the street. The cold wind made my tears burn. I have been been crying for as long as I can remember. I was going to mello's. I had to say goodbye. I tried to calm down as I knocked on his door.

Mello POV

I turned off the T.V., when I heard the door being knocked on. I was shocked when I saw Near. Not the fact that he was here but how he looked. His perfectly white hair had dark red blood in it and his white shirt and jeans were ripped. Almost immediately it clicked, his dad was drinking again and he was drunk. Still I had to ask. "Near, what happened?"

Near POV

"Mello I am sorry I can't take any of this shit anymore. I came to say goodbye, I love you." I whispered as I left.

I knew what he was going to do. "Near Please don't, I love you to. Please don't go." I cried as I grabbed his hand. "Please come inside and talk." I continued as Near nodded
