Chapter 1
Nightmare Return
Summary: Tigress has her memory taken from her and only have a scars from the past. Now her memories are coming back to her which ruining her future, and present. How will she handle this fight? Will she fight alone or with her new family?
Dreamland
Tigress ran through the forest chasing after something she doesn't know what she is looking for. The rain started to pour hard and started to unable to see where she is going. Soon she started to run from something, or someone, after her.
Beyond the darkness, someone ran after with a loud growl and dark panting behind her. Tigress looked around to see him approaching from the back out for her blood.
Tigress tripped onto the root and fall sliding on the muddy ground as she looked up quickly to see a dark figure glaring down. His eyes glowed with three red lines on this right eye. She started to build fear inside of her not knowing what it is as a born cub.
Tigress stared at the dark figure afraid unable to move from the painful injury. She watched him approaching closer down while unable to breathe. He stroke down growling loud while everything gone black.
Dreamline End
Tigress sat up panting hard and gasping for air as she sweated a lot of fear and shock. Looking around to see where she is, she is in her room having another nightmare as she lay back down to stare at the ceiling on relief.
The dream was the tenth times within two weeks while concerned why she is having these dreams. What are they supposed to mean?
Tigress sat up to feel her left waist remembering the scars she have when she first saw them. She doesn't know when she has those scars, but it has to happen as a cub. She sighed remembering bad memory when she was in the Orphanage.
Remaining silence for a moment, Tigress listened to everyone sleeping peacefully even Po's sleep talking and snoring. She never understand why he is the Dragon Warrior if he is… Po.
Tigress walked out her room to get some air from her nightmare in deep thought. She doesn't understand why she have these nightmares, but she can't escape from them if she knew how to.
By the time she entered the Hall of Warrior, Shifu sensed Tigress' tense in her Chi and woke up. He headed out the room to see Tigress stopped in front of the Moon Pool.
"Tigress." Shifu called out as he noticed no replies from her.
"Tigress?" Tried again approaching from the back.
Tigress remained staring at the pond viewing an expression of lost and confusion on her face. Shifu found that disruption and cleared his throat to try to help her snapped out her thought. Tigress jumped from her spot and turned around to see her Grandmaster behind her awaken.
"Master Shifu! I'm so sorry." Tigress panicked as she bowed apologizing. "Did I woke you up?" She asked looking up.
Shifu shook his head, which it is a half lie. "I just have a vision at the same time you had entered. " He told her rubbing his beard.
"You had another nightmare, Tigress?"
Tigress looked away not replying. "Tigress. Go to bed." Shifu gave an order of concern.
"I will give you a task tomorrow." Tigress glanced up and nodded as she bowed.
Shifu watched her leave heading back to her room while he started to remember about his vision. He saw an old enemy back then he and Oogway putted away long ago. He returned fill with rage and vengeance, but very worse than ever.
Shifu clutched his stuff tighten and walked back to his room for tomorrow. He hoped the task will help her relax from her nightmare and tense long ago.
Morning
GONG!
"Good morning, Master!"
The Furious Five, minus Tigress and Po, dashed out their room as they greeted their standing form and straight.
Two second later, Tigress came from the room as she stood form. "Good morning, Master!" She greeted rapidly fast.
Shifu noticed Po hasn't come out and approached to the room till he heard loud crashing and banging in the room. Po stumbled out the room nearly bumped into Shifu.
Monkey and Mantis chuckled and Crane and Viper shook their head also chuckling. Tigress stood there doesn't seem in the mood to bother herself about his action. "Uh, Morning, Master Shifu." Po greeted nervous.
"I expected all of you to eat breakfast and head to the Training Hall to do training." Shifu gave them an order and they bowed.
They headed to the kitchen eating breakfast while Po made some noodles and Viper prepared the teas. She noticed something off from Tigress as she watched her grab her own food, stir tofu. She poured the tea for them.
"Tigress. Is everything alright? You have been quiet for a while. You okay?" Viper asked Tigress out of concern.
Tigress narrowed her eyes looking on her left to see concern in her friend's eyes. "I'm fine." She told her starting eating her food emotionless.
Viper and the other blinked one time looking at the Tiger Master doubting and worry more. Tigress noticed the look and glared not in the mood for them to look at her out of pity.
"What?"
They looked away and started eating breakfast talking to each other. Tigress remained silence eating her food when Shifu entered the room to see them already eating. He cleared his throat to get their attention.
"I'm just here to inform to tell you what you will do while I am on my way." Shifu told them which surprised Po.
"You're going somewhere, Master Shifu?" Po asked putting down the bowl.
"Just for a moment. I will be back in a few hours." The students shrugged his shoulders not going to ask further.
"I want Monkey and Mantis spar for an hour then switch to Crane and Viper. After an hour of sparring, go around the oburcle along with Po till lunch time. No slacking and no break." Shifu gave a look to Po who shrugged from the look.
The other snickered behind Po's back who narrowed his eyes at his friends upset. Shifu faced Tigress seeing her not pay attention with tying look on her face.
"Tigress." Tigress lifted her head up hearing the calling. "I want you to go to the Valley of Peace with me later I return. I need some assist with the bags." Shifu told Tigress leaving the room.
"That mean no training?" Tigress asked leaning back.
"No training." Shifu said turning left.
Tigress sighed leaving the kitchen to head to the Valley of Peace for a meet up. The other are started to get worry for Tigress. They knew she has the nightmare over and over, but doesn't know what they are. She has changed so much thanks to them and they wanted to help, but doesn't know how.
Valley of Peace
Tigress walked through the village for a short walk and get some more air. She watched the villagers talking, laughing, working, and buying in peace, which it should be. She smiled slightly for this when she came across a family of pigs in front of them.
A father and mother walked past her watching over their son and daughter. They smiled wide enjoy to have them in their life.
Tigress slowly remembered, not knowing it, she hear laughing, baby laugh, and growls in her head. Shifu has returned to see Tigress standing there like a statue. He raised an eyebrow turning to see what she is staring at.
The family stood by an apple stand to buy some apples which Shifu turned back to see Tigress in empty emotion in her eyes.
"Tigress." Shifu called out walking next to Tigress to hear no response, again.
"Tigress?"
Shifu saw Tigress in her world again like last night. He had an idea to snap her out of it with a humility and punishment for not responding. He smirked lifting his foot to stomp on her tail hard for her to scream in pain. The villagers, who saw, laughed to themselves when Tigress glared at them and they stopped.
Tigress glared down at her master who looked away and glanced at the lists in his paws. "Was that necessary Master?" She asked rubbed her tail furious.
"I have no idea what you are talking about, Tigress. I'm just accidently step on your tail when I came by. I didn't see you there." Shifu told Tigress glancing up smirking.
"Then why didn't you say thing?" Tigress let go of her tail asking a question. "You won't hear me when you are in your deep thought." Shifu said walking off to the markets. Tigress growled rubbing her arcs irritating of him taking an advantage of her when her guard is down.
They have arrived to the center of the markets as Shifu gave Tigress half the lists they will need to buy. "You will groceries, herbs, and candies." Shifu responded walking off.
"What are you buying?" Tigress asked raising an eyebrow.
"Something I'll meaning to buy some time ago." Shifu replied not looking back. Tigress shrugged her shoulders and started the list.
They shopped for an hour and headed back to the Jade Palace climbing on the Thousand Stairs. "Tigress. I would suggest that you meditate to help with your nightmare." Shifu turned to her telling to meditate with him.
"Alright, Master Shifu. I will." Tigress nodded understand.
"I will be with you if there would be problem during the meditation."
Tigress stopped walking surprise and confuse while watching him walk further up. "What's kind of problem is there I won't handle?" She asked raising an eyebrow catching up to him.
"You have no idea what kind of nightmare you have is dangerous." Shifu muttered to himself soft enough for her not to hear.
Hall of Warrior
Shifu lit al ten candles as he sat back down next to Tigress who is prepared to meditate. "Close your eyes and find your Inner Peace." He told her closing his eyes follow with her closing her eyes.
Tigress took a deep breath and searched for her Inner Peace. They meditated for twenty minutes with silence and scents of the candles.
Shifu took another deep breath when he sensed a disruption and heard grunting beside him. Opening one eyes, he watched Tigress struggled to meditate with a lot of sweats and clutching her teeth.
"Tigress." Shifu opened his whole eyes knowing this will happen.
In Tigress' mind, she watched the dark figure trapped her glaring down as he have stroke his fist down. She started to have a panic attack opening her eyes and gasping for air.
"Tigress!"
Shifu watched Tigress lead forward and on her knees couldn't breathe. He knew she won't hear him as he pressured points on her back trying to help when she started to breathe normally again. Tigress panted soft, but hard, while Shifu sighed relieving to see her alright.
"Tigress. Will you be alright?" Shifu asked.
"I think so…" Tigress took a deep breath. "…Master Shifu…" She closed to eyes breathing in and out while sitting back with her head on her knee.
Shifu started to remember the time he took her in into the Jade Palace when she was a cub. He and Oogway were sleeping when they heard Tigress' screaming. They rushed over to her room to found Tigress under the bed shaking violently in fear.
Oogway tried to calm Tigress when he saw the fear in her eyes is unreal and similar in the past. He pressured points on her to make her unconscious.
Shifu asked why he would do such tactics on Tigress. Oogway explained he saw fear in her eyes which he saw the same look back in the past. Shifu found that confusion while Oogway took Tigress with him to watch over tonight.
A healer came next morning needing to check on Tigress. Oogway let her as he and Shifu waited outside of Tigress' room. The healer stepped out telling she gave some sleeping herbs for Tigress to take for her lack of sleep.
They asked why the healer is here to check on Tigress if it just a night terror some kids will get when they are in Tigress' age. The healer told them Tigress has serious wound on her right waist since it has not been healing properly.
Shifu asked what scar she is informing to when he heard a scar when Tigress received as born cub. They looked at each other more shock when they were three lines like a scratches mark. They had seem them before when they put him away.
Realizing what they head thought, Tian's daughter has the same wounds from her father. They wondered is Tigress that born cub they have meet before.
The day after the healer last visited, Oogway and Shifu helped Tigress to overcome her night terror. They tried many methods in trainings to help her, but she kept seeing him every single nights. They noticed the lack of training inside of her.
Oogway helped Tigress to forget the dark figure with his secretly skills. He blocked the memories back in her mind. Tigress was in coma for three days and woke up in her normal self like she was in the Orphanage.
Shifu and Oogway watched over Tigress training while thinking about her and the villain they put away. They will protect her from him and everything she has seen when she got that scar.
Shifu glanced over to see Tigress calming down from her shock. He could see the fear and confusion in her eyes he hasn't seen for a long time. Seeing those fear again, the seal is slowly weaken and revealing the dark figure again.
Oogway told him the seal will slowly weaken every years that goes by. Once it reached its peak, Shifu have to protect and guide Tigress to overcome them herself without assist, but only guiding.
Shifu sighed. "Tigress." Tigress looked up trying to hidden her frighten.
"You don't have to hide your fear or anything from me. If you have a problem, an issue, or another nightmare, you can tell me about it. Not just your master, but as your father." Shifu told Tigress.
"You don't have to hide everything you fear from me and face them alone. You can tell me and I will try everything to assist you to make sure you don't have to fear them. Not as your master, but as your father as well." Shifu told Tigress placing his paw on her shoulder.
Tigress looked surprise what he said as she nodded. "Yes, Master Shifu." She replied not ready to call him father.
"I may not know what you are going through or what you are seeing, but I do know you can overcome them like you overcome everything that is in your path to fight justice and put down the evil."
Tigress nodded again smiling a little. "Also, do not tell the other about this. Expectedly Po. You know what he will do if he know about his discussion and your fear." She chuckled completely understand even the last part.
"Don't worry, Master. I won't." Tigress replied calming down completely.
Shifu nodded smiling as they gone back to meditation. They were in completely silence with no distraction, no Po's talking, and no memory coming back. Not yet anyway.

Tigress- Master Shifu! This cub is losing his strength and need to see a healer!
Shifu- This is not good! Take him to the infirmary! I will inform the healer and Po to make some foods teas to bring to the infirmary!
Tigress- Understood!
