Dean groaned, at the moment he wasn't happy with the current outcome of his and Jared's situation. "Dean, calm down. It's normal."
"It's normal, yes. Weird, yes. Scary, hell yes. Gross, you have no idea!" Dean said pacing outside the bathroom door of their house.
"Stop that." Jared frowned and pulled Dean down beside him. "You are going to worry the poor thing, first she's embarassed and now she has her father pacing in front of the door saying it's gross. She's going to think that we think she's gross."
"I'd never think my daughter is gross." Dean said and laid back on the bed. "It's just not usual for me, I mean I can rip off a vampires head and get blood splattered on my face and clothes and that won't bother me..but now my daughter bleeding from...oh dude it's just nasty."
Jared chuckled. "Oh grow up."
Hailie stood by the bathroom door now, her face red with embarassment watching her two father's chat about her becoming a woman. Dean sat up and looked at Jared. "But she's only 13!" He shouted.
Hailie coughed and both men looked up at her. Jared smiled. "Hi beautiful, everything okay in there?"
Hailie nodded and looked at the floor. "You uh..you hungry kiddo?" Dean asked her with a small awkward smile.
"Kind of." She said and rubbed her stomach. "I could really go for some cheesy pizza and mozzerella sticks, and fries, and a whole liter of coke." She said and licked her lips.
"That's my girl!" Dean said with a laugh and stood up. "We going to a diner or are we ordering in?"
"I'd like to go out. Can we?" She asked looking at her dad.
"Sure thing pumpkin." Dean said and kissed the top of her head. "I just need to pee."
Hailie nodded and looked at Jared who was watching the two of them with a smile. Dean went to the bathroom and shut the door, Hailie sat down with Jared and Jared wrapped his strong arms around her. "You sure your okay?"
"Yeah. I don't want you to think I'm a dirty freak though." She muttered into his shoulder.
"A dirty freak?" Jared frowned, grabbing Hailie's shoulders. "You are not a freak. It happens to every child. Listen to me honey, you have to have a period so that you can grow into a happy, healthy woman. One that will grow up and shine bright and get married.." He trailed off.
"I don't want to get married." Hailie said with a sigh.
"Why not?" Jared frowned and looked at the bathroom door, wondering what Dean was doing that was taking him so long.
"Because I want to be a hunter." Hailie said softly.
Jared turned to look at her with a gasp. "What?"
