Feels Like The First Time
She leant forward, her lips brushing against his. This wasn't the first time that they had kissed, but it felt like the first time.
It always felt like the first time with him.
She felt him hesitate slightly before she pulled back, rejection written clearly in her Erinite eyes. She felt those carefully constructed walls she had built close up around her from his misconstrued rejection.

She bowed her head as her eyes welled up, a single tear sliding down her fine cheekbone where it gracefully fell to the soft material of her top below.
She felt his finger lift her chin to bring her eyes into contact with his, what she saw there, stunned her. It wasn't rejection, it was unadulterated love that radiated from his eyes and every pore of his being.
"I want to take it slow, Jen," he said, pouring every emotion into each word that fell from his lips. "I don't want this to end before its even begun."
Jennifer couldn't help but let a little shy smile grace her features as she looked at him.
"I love you too much to loose you." Matt said, encircling her in his strong arms.

She knew that she had found her true love in the man that she had fallen for. Maybe she would get her fairy tail ending.
