Chapter 1 – Who knew squids and sponges could get along – by The Dreamnight
15 feet under the sea a time capsule stood, which was an old fryer which Mr Crabs had kept for 50 years, inside SpongeBob and Patrick were acting like their usual old selves in order to pass the time for next 50 years. They played whatever game they could find in the time capsule. Squidward as usual was his angry discontented self; it had been god knows how many days since the capsule was buried. Unfortunately SpongeBob, Squidward and Patrick could not get out all they could do was play games or sit around you thought by now Squidward could deal with SpongeBob and Patrick's childish buffoonery. Although Squidward couldn't he just kept thinking about how many times they had embarrassed him like the time SpongeBob had created a puppet version which everyone seemed to like more than him. Then there was the time SpongeBob and Patrick had ruined his public access TV show turning it into a vibrant house party, which he himself got kicked out of. Then there was the time that Squidward auditioned for the Choir Boys and SpongeBob turns up with a singing voice much better than his own, and the list goes on. However Squidward did have some good times like when SpongeBob gave him a wooden clarinet which played The Nutcracker sweetly when pressed however most of the time he was a more of a hindrance than a help. SpongeBob stopped the game he was playing and looked over and saw Squidward's depressed and angry face, "Squidward", said SpongeBob, "Why are you so angry we are going to be trapped in here for the next 50 years, you have got to relax a bit". "Yeah" Patrick added "be happy" said Patrick. Squidward replied "how can I be happy when you and Patrick are playing those dumb games, if it wasn't for Patrick and his dumb rock I wouldn't be in this mess, I'm in the right now this is worse than all the embarrassing things you have done to me put together, you know SpongeBob there's something I have always said you never listen due to the fact you are always in an idiotic trance so for once snap out of it and listen to me I hate you. You have messed up my life for the last time plus we have messed up my life for the last time plus we have no food or water and we need a way to get it fast. "Squidward" SpongeBob said as the tears started to run down his face, "is this true?", "Yes" Squidward said. He never thought SpongeBob would react this way, "I have been in an idiotic trance all this time, plus I'm actually starting to feel hungry and thirsty as well there's nothing that can be done for Patrick as he's naturally stupid, however the least I can do is to form a friendship with you". "Wow" said Squidward, "that is the most intelligent thing you have said to me", "I will not annoy my new friend Squidward, let's look for food" said SpongeBob. After all that for the next few years Squidward and SpongeBob had chats together but Patrick kept interfering so SpongeBob had to tell him to be quiet. However one fact still remained would they find water, looking around they found some power tools.
