When asked about it years later, Rima would have sworn she hadn't seen the person hiding in the bushes; the jewel-green eyes watching her as she walked with Shiki by the pond. She would have denied any prior knowledge of her "assault". Of course, he's anything but predictable – and if he'd told her beforehand, she would have been prepared, right?
And that's no fun.
When asked about it years later, Takuma would have sworn he never meant to do what he had. "I hadn't seen her in hours," he'd protest, "So I felt a friendly hug was in order!"
The glint in his eyes would say otherwise, though.
It could be considered molestation, she realized, thinking back. Technically.
She had been walking with Shiki that night – not an unusual occurence. They had been walking back to the moon dorm from work.
Suddenly, she felt someone jump on her back, hugging her tightly, and groping her chest. She knew for a fact that it was Takuma – for who else would make the "huggy noise"?
"Ichijou, get off me!" she exclaimed, lashing out with her pointy elbows.
"Huh? OH!" he said as he realized exactly where his hands were. "Gosh, I'm sorry!"
He jumped off her and dashed in front of her. "Forgive me!" He bowed his head.
Rima scowled and turned her head away. "No."
"Come on. . ." Takuma whined. "I didn't even know you had any! When did these grow?" He pushed his hands against her chest, at which she screamed and pushed him away.
"Shiki! Make him stop!" she yelled.
"I can't," he told her. "Once he starts something, he never stops."
". . .I mean, really!" They realised Takuma had been yelling at them. "I'm sure you didn't have those last week!" He clasped his hands together, and a tear glistened in the corner of his eye. "They grow up so fast!"
Rima's face as she pushed Takuma into the pond was a sight to remember.
