(CHANNY STORY)
The heart monitor beeping faintly, the doctors running in and out the room. Why? Why did SHE have to get hit by that truck? She'll be okay; I can feel it in my heart. It's something being in love does to you. She's the only that owns my heart. She being Sonny Munroe. M'lady, my baby, my Sonshine. The girl I was planning to propose to today, that was until it happened
Flashback (2 hours earlier)
Her smile was captivating, she was always beaming. She was dancing around the park on the flower filled grass bed. She spotted a poor bird with a broken wing hobbling around on the sidewalk. She being the warm kindhearted girl she is ran over and placed it back in its nest. She turned around and started to walk back to where I was sitting. A truck was speeding uncontrollably towards her. My face went red with panic. I shouted out to her but it was too late, the truck hit her with full force and she was knocked unconscious with blood slight seeping out of where the truck had impacted her head. I ran to her and quickly dialed 911 to get an ambulance straight away.
Flashback (4 months earlier)
I was sitting in my dressing room red faced with tears spilling out of my eyes. I heard the familiar sound of her heels making her way to my door. She opened the door and cheerfully greeted me, "Hey baby." She then looked and saw my tear stained face. "Oh my gosh Chad, what's wrong," she said rushing over and wrapping me in her arms. I was sobbing into her chest and I told her all about how my mother and father were getting a divorce.
"Hey, hey Shuusshhhh," she cooed into my ear. 'Now now, don't cry because It's over, smile because it happened," she whispered. I remember that was the first time I told her I loved her. She started tearing up and passionately kissed me.
Back in reality
I heard the beeping of her heart monitor go back to normal, I turned around and ran over to her side and grabbed her hand. Her eyes fluttered open, "Chaddy, are you there," she whispered hoarsely. The tears found their way to my eyes. "Yes, yes Sonshine I'm here. I'll always be here," I whispered into her hair and kissed her temple.
