Sakura's eyes were filled with sadness as she looked down at the stone monument which read K.I.A."Sasuke ... Naruto ... Kakashi." She muttered sadly.

"Sakura what are you doing here?"

Sakura turned to see Iruka standing nearby. "It's not like you to be hanging around here."

Sakura shrugged, "I guess I'm just ..." She trailed off. "Well I'll see you later."

As Iruka began to leave leave, Sakura spoke up. "Was it just luck?"

Iruka opened his mouth to ask what she was talking about."Wha-"

"Was it just luck." She repeated, cutting him off. "That I was put in team seven." This time she spoke softly. "Kakashi was chosen specifically for Naruto and Sasuke, he was to control the demon fox and try and stop Sasuke from leaving due to their past. Losing loved ones."

Sakura paused.

"It was ironic that Naruto just happened to be the worst in our year, Sasuke the best. Was it just luck I was chosen to be in team 7 with them?"

"No." Iruka replied. "It was fate, and you followed."

Iruka himself didn't believe in fate like Neji, but he didn't exactly believe it was all choices like Naruto. He believed you were given a destiny, but could choose to change it.

"You could have trained more, or studied less."

" I see."

Silence quickly followed.

"Well I'll see you around, Sakura."

Sakura gave a faint smile."Thank you Iruka-sensei."

Sakura looked back at the stone monument. This time, her eyes weren't filled with as much comrades had been killed in action, during their latest didn't know much about it, Sakura wasn't in the mood to listen.

"I miss you guys.I don't have much to live for anymore.... Maybe I can get Tsunade-sama to give me a mission that just might kill me, I can be with you guys." Of course, Sakura was serious.

Later that night, after coming home from a shift at the hospital, Sakura went down an old alley as a shortcut.A man was standing there, and he made Sakura she was a strong kunoichi but that man, he just made her scared. Why? That's what she herself would like to know.

"Please protect me." Sakura said, wishing her boys were back with her.

At once she felt three figures, two beside her and one behind.

She immediately felt safe.

"Please help me." Said the man, Sakura was once afraid of.

He was bleeding he wasn't healed soon he could have died.

Green chakra emitted from her hands as she ran them over his wounds, healing them with little effort.

That's why she didn't kill was there to heal and keep the ones she loved the ones that she couldn't have saved, they would be there, watching her.

"Thank you."
