It was at that moment where Shima completely messed up.
"I-I didn't mean it Izumo! I was just playing around!" Shima said as he laughed nervously trying to worm his way out of trouble. Izumo looked to her side, "Hmph! You're an idiot you know that? A pervy one." Shima was shivering in fear, trying not to get slapped by the girl once more. It was a regular day at cram school. Just a regular day. Rin was sleeping through class, Izumo still trying to intimidate Shima after what he said, and Bon still fussing over Rin's incompetence. What happened? Why was Shima in trouble with Izumo? Well, I guess you could say he was talking out loud... On mistake. The boys were sitting at one desk when it occurred.
EARLIER
"Dude! Have you seen Izumo?" Shima asked.
"Yeah of course I've seen her man, she goes to the same class with us!" Bon replied, with no care at all.
"No no! I meant her BODY. Cherry lipstick, long stalkings with red lining, and beautiful long hair used with a limited edition shampoo."
"Shima, How do you know all of this?" Bon said with curiosity. "Let's just say I did some... Hmm, what's the word? Snooping."
Rin came up behind him. "Don't you think that is a little creepy? Never mind a little creepy, that's a lot creepy. Especially when it's on a girl" "Don't talk so loud! If Izumo were nearby I wou-"
"You would what, huh?" Izumo asks with a tone. Bon whispers to Izumo, "Believe me or not, Shima was spying on you, figuring out on what you were wearing."
"I bet you even know what her bra size is! C'mon, I know you know Shima... Haha, spit it out!" Rin added. Shima face was basically a tomato by then.
"Yes, I do know. Actually, if you think about it, It's quite pleasura- Urk!" Izumo's slap echoed through the hallway for everyone to hear. The Kyoto boys were startled along with Rin. Shima's right cheek had a hand print. The cram school went from there. Without realizing, cram school went by quickly. He hasn't remembered much, only because he was sleeping throughout classes. Again.
Rin slowly walked to his dorm with a boring look on his face, kicking a tiny rock as he went. Once he got closer to his dorm, he heard footsteps. Running footsteps."Rin! Wait!" The voice sounded familiar. He looked behind him. To his surprise, it was Izumo. "H-Hey Izumo! What are you doing here?" He questioned. She was still running. Izumo tripped on the rock Rin was fiddling with. He yelled internally, "Oh Crap!" She fell into Rin's chest, pushing him back a bit. "Izumo are you OK?" She pushed off slowly, looking down in embarrassment. And then she noticed. He was holding Rin's body. Izumo quickly pulled back her arms. "Yeah.. I'm fine." She said as she blushed.
"So why are you here anyways?" Rin asked. Izumo hesitantly answered, "Can you teach me how to cook? Please?" Rin's eyes grew. He never thought anyone would ask him. Especially a girl like Izumo. He sighed and scratched his head. "Well.. I mean, I guess so. I can't deny."
"Cool. I'll meet with you tomorrow then?" "S-Sure." Rin replied.
She smiled, turned around and left. She was talking to herself about what just happened. "What was that feeling back there?" It was annoying for her. Izumo hastily walked to her dorm. She unlocked the door to her room and headed to her desk. A textbook was pulled out from her school bag. The setup of an all-nighter was going to occur. "Why am I still thinking about Rin? All he's doing is teaching me how to cook." She slumped.
Tomorrow was the day for her to finally learn how to cook. After all the homework was done, she slept lied down on her cold bed, and trying her best to kick out the image of the boy. Apparently she started to dream about him.
It was before class in cram school. Izumo was the first to arrive in the classroom, so she might as well check over her work from last night. She was standing by the table with her hands down and shoulders slouched. After a good minute and a half, she felt warm air approaching her from behind. She didn't bother to look back, for she thought it was the heater. But it wasn't. She saw the boy approach to the space beside her. "Hey Izumo! How's your day?" Rin questioned. That tone. It felt... uplifting. Izumo spoke, "Oh just the homework from last night. What's going on on your side, stupid?"
"Mmm, you didn't have to insult me." Rin paused.
"Yukio wasn't giving up and kept attempting to waking me up. So I had no choice but to come."
Izumo looked at her work. Then looked back behind her only to see white abyss in her surroundings and the boy in her dream, much farther away. Red flames gashed through the floor in the space between them, creating a wall of flames. (No not Hall of Fame you Poop-Nobbler)
Izumo gasped and rose from her bed. She viewed the room swiftly, then letting out a sigh. Looking to her right, the alarm clock is supposed to shriek the sounds of annoyance in two minutes. She was relieved it didn't start blaring and wakening up the insane part of her. Izumo stepped out of bed, readying herself for school.
"I can't believe I was dreaming about that idiot." You would have expected the girl to have the face of embarrassment, but the only face she had was a stern and serious face. She certainly could not get Rin off her mind. Izumo was becoming exasperated over the lasting notion. Before for she started to care about the things around her, she was walking to through the hallway of despair (cram school). It possibly could be that thought of Rin pulling her awareness down throughout the day. When Izumo walked down the hallway, she noticed the door was ajar. Yet, nobody was inside the room. She took a seat where she normally sat. Not long after, Shima showed up whistling careless tunes. When Shima found Izumo there, his whistles died down. Shima came up of an idiotic plan to 'win' her heart..
"Soooo... Are you still mad me over what I said?" Shima said.
"No, not right now." Izumo replied. Her eyes was focused on the chalkboard ahead. Shima pulled out a chair to the right of the girl, sat down, and stared right into her eyes.
"I know your are still mad at me, so you can tell me"
"You're beautiful, you know that?"
"Thanks, stupid." Izumo said unwillingly. Her face turned to the right slowly, only to see Shima with his lips puckered. Izumo had enough of this kid. A loud and firm smack was created and developed another hand print. "I'm not kissing you, it won't ever happen you idiot. Time passed. The rest of the class showed up, Yukio started to teach, Shima was massaging his cheek that got smacked, and Rin drooling as he slept. All has been going well until Yukio called Izumo to chat in private. Yukio led her right outside of class. "You are good with smacking, correct?"
Izumo looked at him confusedly. "Well I wouldn't say a good one but I sure can smack som-"
"Okay that's great! I want you to sit next to Rin so that when he naps in class, you can smack his face!" Yukio said gladly.
"Sure thing Mr. Okumura,"
The two walked back into class. Izumo sat next to Rin, Rin was napping, Izumo looked at Yukio, Yukio nodded, Izumo looked back at Rin, and said internally: I'm sorry for all this. She looked for a good place to smack him. His right cheek was completely open. Izumo sighed, and pulled back her arm and swung it straight at his cheek.
"Ow! Why the hell would you slap me? I didn't do anything wrong!" Rin yelled furiously. Everyone one in class chuckled and snickered. Except for Shima. Shima was still massaging.
"Come on Rin, if you keep on sleeping, your face will be red of embarrassment and my hand. Now make up your mind Rin."
The boy growled at her angrily. He calmed down as he exhaled like a bull, so he faced the board and listen to the Teach'.
AFTER CLASS
Rin was approaching his building until he saw a small human figure standing by the entrance. He stepped closer to get a better look. It was Izumo. His mind felt like it sparked. He totally forgot about helping her with cooking! "Hey Rin,"
"Hey Izumo. Ready for cooking class?" Rin replied scratching the back of his head. Just let me set everything up, okay?"
"Mhm." Izumo said with agreement.
Only after a few minutes, Rin started to teach Izumo the basics of cooking. Izumo felt like she was having fun with him. She really had enough of the thought. Of her thinking about the boy. So she locked her mind on everything but the thought of Rin. Even if he was standing right next to her. Izumo was told the story by Rin himself when he was younger. There was no one who knew how to cook well in the family, so they got take out most of the time. Rin decided that he wanted to cook for everyone so they could stop getting food from somewhere else. His first time didn't turn out the way he wanted it to.
