Challenge: Cupcake
Rating: T for a kiss, and shounen-ai, of course.

"Link?"
The Hylian boy turned slowly to look at Sheik. He looked nervous, bouncing from the balls of one foot to the other.
"Sheik? Something the matter?"
Link's eyes, owlish in all respects, followed the other boy's every move. Absently, he noted the precise crimson of Sheik's eyes, then shoved that information to the back of his mind. He had more important things to think about, of course. Such as the fact that Sheik was talking. Yes.
"I... well... thank you for the birthday gift! It was lovely and all, but... ummm... I really, really don't like cupcakes. As in, really. They, well, I'm sorry! I know how much you like them, and how hard you worked to make them, but..."
His rambling, so out of character for a person like him, was cut short by Link, who figured that THEN would be the perfect time to kiss him.
A grinning Link decided to speak up.
"You know, I really don't like cupcakes either."

A/N: My first voyage into the wonders of Zelda. I used my artistic license by making Sheik a boy. (Anyone that doesn't know that 'he's' really Zelda needs to play the game again.)
