Here I am - this is me
There's nowhere else on earth I'd rather be
– Firs'-years! Firs'-years over here! All right there, Harry?
– Yes, I'm fine Hagrid, Harry said and nodded his head.
He looked around and pressed with other first years to the giant. He, like the other eleven-years old were wizards and witches. He looked back to his memories and thought:
"I've always believed that I was different, but not in this way."
Harry's life with the Dursleys hasn't been so good. In fact, it was like living in hell. But now he was in another place; new people and no Dursleys. It seems he will appreciate his new home in Hogwarts.
Here I am - it's just me and you
And tonight we make our dreams come true
He looked at Ron and smiled. Ron answered with a nervous smile.
"Maybe the two of us could be friends, my first real friend" Harry thought.
It's a new world - it's a new start
It's alive with the beating of young hearts
It's a new day - it's a new plan
I've been waiting for you
Here I am
He looked around and noticed that the other children were starring at him, but when he turned to them, they looked away. One thing that Harry thought was strange, it seems that everybody knew who he was, but he didn't. He was famous!
But what? That was a question he couldn't answer, except he has overcome Voldemort. Suddenly, when they came to a little beach with many small boats, he heard Hagrid shouting:
– No more'n four in a boat!
He and Ron shared a boat with a boy who was called Neville, and Hermione, a girl he met on the train.
Here we are - we've just begun
And after all this time - our time has come
Ya here we are - still goin' strong
Right here in the place where we belong
A few minutes later, he saw the giant castle, which turned up in the sky. Hogwarts! He looked up and gasped.
"So big, he thought. And huge I could never have imagined it!"
Ten minutes later, they came to the beach and stepped out of the boats. They walked down a path, which led up to the castle.
– Harry, Ron said. Do you think that we will get on well here at Hogwarts?
Here I am - next to you
And suddenly the world is all brand new
– Yeah, Harry said after he thought little. I think so...yes we will!
Here I am - where I'm gonna stay
Now there's nothin standin in our way
Here I am -
"Well, this is where I belong, he thought and smiled."
This is me!
