Katara's POV ~

It's been exactly one year since the war ended. Aang and Zuko have spent most of their time working on all damages done around the world.

I sat next to a pond, bending some water. So much has changed. I remember when "Team Avatar" was traveling the world on a bison. Now we have a palace to call home.

I smiled, thinking about Aang. He's really grown up. He still has his same sense of humor, but he's grown a lot more serious. He's not a kid anymore...

"Lady Katara." A servant walked up & bowed politely. "Yes?" Katara dropped the water she'd been bending.

"The avatar has requested that the "team" all have lunch together."

This suprised Katara. They all were still close, but they rarely ever ate together, not including the dinners they had as a family every now and then.

"Tell him I'll be there in a second, thank you." She stood up and walked back into the palace, closing the door to the garden behind her.

Sokka, Suki, Toph, and Mai sat around the dining table already. Katara took a seat next to her brother and asked, "What's all this for?" She asked.

Sokka shrugged. "How should I know? I just came for the food."

Rolling her eyes, Katara thought, Ok so maybe not THAT much has changed.

Aang and Zuko entered. They weren't dressed in their formal attire. Aang had changed into the same clothes he had worn traveling around the world. But they had to had been a bigger size, since he had grown a couple inches taller.

They sat down, both on opposite sides of the table. The servants came in and brought in silver platters full of food. Sokka, of course, was the first to dive right in.

Katara leaned over to Aang, "Something going on?"

Aang smiled, "We had a letter from the south pole."

Katara furrowed her eyebrows, confused.

"A water bender has been born."

Katara smiled in happiness. "I thought I was going to be the last water bender of my tribe."

"They were asking us to visit, so I thought..."

"Yes!" Katara exclaimed, causing everyone to stop eating and look over.

As Aang explained to everyone, Katara sat in pure content. She couldn't wait to go home.
