Short little ditty. It's pure conversation between Beast Boy and Raven set sometime after the series end. I've always liked their romance the most. This conversation does not display the usual fanfiction love between them (the kind that end in kisses and proclamations of love). I just wanted to have a scene that could show their affection for one another on a simple term.

"Everyone is changing and it scares me."

"What, pray tell, do you mean?"

"Robin is less focused on the bad guys."

"He has Starfire now."

"Starfire cooks less."

"She spends time with Robin."

"Cyborg seems upset."

"He feels left out from the group."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Robin and Starfire spend all their time together, I meditate, and you do God knows what."

"You don't have to meditate, you know."

"Excuse me?"

"You don't have to control your emotions as much now, do you?"

"…I suppose not. But mediation is part of what I do. It's part of who I am. Regardless of my powers, I still meditate."

"You're more than just the girl who meditates, you know."

"Forget it, Beast Boy. Anyway, you were saying about changes?"

"Everything's different. I feel like I don't know anyone anymore."

"I think the difference is that some people change and some people grow into themselves."

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is, some people alter their personalities completely. At the same time, some people make minor adjustments, but keep their original personality."

"Oh. Hey, Rae, can I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

"Do you think I've changed?"

"…No."

"It's a weird question, forget I asked anything-"

"Beast Boy, wait. Let me finish. It's not a weird question. You don't make as many awkward jokes, but you still have a sense of humor. You act more responsible, but you still remain childish sometimes. You still disrupt my meditation, but you don't annoy me. You never changed, you just grew into yourself."

"Right…"

"When you talk in front of people, are you more comfortable of what you are saying?"

"Uh huh."

"And when someone asks you a question, are you more positive of the answer?"

"Yep."

"You are more comfortable with yourself, but your personality hasn't changed."

"That makes sense. …So, I don't annoy you?"

"No. Not as much."

"Good. And do you like who I am now?"

"Yes."

"Really? Wow."

"…Beast Boy?"

"Yeah, Raven?"

"Do, do you like who I am?"

"Of course. I always have. I always will."

I hope you all enjoyed this and that it wasn't too difficult to follow. I'm trying to get back in the swing of writing, so please comment and tell me how I'm doing. If I get enough positive feedback on this story, I might continue it.
