Ueki was lying on the couch, his beloved wife in his arms. It had been ten years since the incident where everyone had forgotten their memories, and a lot had happened since then. For one thing, Ueki had gotten married (as you could probably already tell). He loved sitting like this with his wife, but the only problem was that his nose kept getting hit by her glasses. He sighed.

"Mori, can you please take off your glasses? They keep bumping my nose."

"Well, excuse me Mr. 'I saved the world twice' if I want to dress the way I like to dress." She replied in her insulting-yet-not-insulting tone of voice that she was the master of. The other indicator that she was joking was the bright smile that she wore. She took off her glasses, and was rewarded for her minimal effort with a nuzzling from her overly-affectionate husband. Mori giggled. "Well aren`t you in a good mood today?"

"Why wouldn`t I be? The world`s been safe for ten years, no evil villains have tried to kill me, you, or any of our friends… why wouldn`t I be happy?"

"Ten years to the day that you came back, actually…" Mori let the sentence hang in the air, her voice betraying some of the pain she still felt towards his one-year disappearance. Ueki hugged her tighter.

"Don`t worry." He said in a soothing voice. "I won`t ever go away again. I promise." Mori somehow managed to turn around so that she faced Ueki, and flicked him on the nose.

"You better not, or I`ll get you!" She giggled and Ueki chuckled. His face got solemn for a half-second, and then it went back to his carefree face.

"We have to meet Sano and Rinko at the airport later to go to their hot spring, right?"

"Not just them, but everyone else too!"

"Oh yeah… what time do we have to meet them?"

"Around 6:00. Why?"

"Really? It`s 5:50 already." Mori bolted up and out of her husband`s arms.

"What!" She looked at the clock and saw that Ueki was right. "Oh no! Ueki, c`mon! We have to get ready!" She started to dash around the house, grabbing her coat and getting everything else ready. "Darn it Ueki! You distracted me!" Ueki was still lying down on the couch, watching his wife run all around, chuckling as she did. He stood up, and the next time Mori passed by him, he caught her by the arm.

"Ueki, what are you-"she was cut off as Ueki`s lips met hers. She quickly forgot what she was doing and embraced her husband. She was a bit sad when he pulled away and looked her in the eyes, but was cheered up when she heard what he said:

"We can afford to be a little late."

XXXXXXX

I have to say, I loved Law of Ueki and Law of Ueki Plus. I wanted to write a story for one of my favorite couples for a while, and I finally got around to it. Hope you enjoyed!
