Quote from Friends
Shane and Jason sat in front of the big screen TV in the luxurious loft that belonged to their brother and his wife, also their best friend—who had gone out for the night—watching the Rangers/Blues game. Well, Shane was watching; Jason was debating with himself about which team had the best colors—which was a hard decision since both teams has blue, his favorite color, so it was between Red and Gold.
"I'm gonna say the Blues do, because gold is a shade of yellow, and yellow is a happy color." Jason smiled, glad that the debate had come to an end. Seeing the score, his smile grew, "And their winning!"
"Oh, come on!" Shane yelled at the TV as David Backes scored an easy goal for the Blues, bring the score to 4-2-Blues.
"I'm gonna get something to drink." Jason said, getting up and walking over to the kitchen.
"What do they have?" Shane asked before groaning as TJ Oshie scored another goal for the Blues, "Come on, Lundqvist! Get it together!"
Opening the refrigerator, Jason replied, "They got water, orange juice, and what looks like cider."
Jason held the glass up for Shane to see and the younger boy shrugged, "Taste it."
Jason took a sip, before spitting it back out, making a face, and putting it back in the refrigerator, "Yep, that's fat; I drank fat."
"Yeah, I know." Shane looked up from the TV as a commercial came on, a smile on his face, "I did that two minutes ago."
"Why didn't you warn me!" Jason exclaimed.
Before the younger boy could reply, Nate and Caitlyn walked through the door, clearly confused as to why Nate's older brothers were there.
"Did we have plans?" Nate asked slowly, taking out his PDA and looking at the planner.
"Why are you here?" Caitlyn asked, already knowing that they didn't have any plans with the older two Grey brothers.
"Watching the game." Shane replied like it was normal to pick the lock to your brother's apartment just to watch the hockey game.
"Why aren't you watching it at your place?" Nate asked, still confused.
"Your place is better." Shane shrugged.
"You guys have the same place! You live across the hall! There's no difference in our apartments!" Caitlyn replied, rolling her eyes.
"Yes, but you guys always have the big screen TV and the stocked fridge." Shane shrugged, "you guys need to go shopping."
"Did you know you have a glass of fat in there?" Jason asked, pointing at the refrigerator.
"I'm going to go change." Caitlyn rolled her eyes and made her way down the hall to her and Nate's room.
"Thanks guys." Nate replied tightly, "it's our anniversary and I had the perfect romantic evening planned. It was going perfectly until we got home and found you guys here, thus ruining the moment and the rest of the evening."
"Okay, okay, we're sorry." Shane sighed, before turning back to the TV, "Now can you please be quiet? The third period's about to start."
Nate sighed before hanging his head and trudging down the hall to his bedroom.
"What's his problem?" Shane asked Jason, who just shrugged in response as they turned back to the hockey game.
