"Oi Soubi, when can I remove this blindfold?" Ritsuka complained once again as he was lead around the streets. Soubi had said he was taking him somewhere that he knew Ritsuka might like.
"Just a bit further, Ritsuka," Soubi said calmly, lightly rubbing the top of Ritsuka's head, which made Ritsuka's ear twitch slightly. Finally, which seemed like forever to Ritsuka, Soubi stopped.
"Now can I take this off?" Ritsuka asked, getting more and more aggravated.
"Yes, you can remove it now Ritsuka." Soubi waited as Ritsuka removed the blindfold and hoped for a good reaction. When Ritsuka looked up at the place they were at, his face lit up.
"Soubi you shouldn't have, how did you know I wanted to go here?" he asked happily.
"Yuiko told me you had been wanting to come here since it opened. She wanted to come along too but I told her I wanted to spend some time alone with just Ritsuka." He smiled at the younger boy, then took his hand and opened the door to the candy shop. Once inside, Ritsuka pulled Soubi all around the store looking at all the different kinds of candies there were to choose from.
"Look Ritsuka." Soubi took one of the lollypops, paid for it, and then came back over to him. "This is another great way to train as well." He then began to carefully lick the lollypop with his tongue.
"Train? How can eating a lollypop help me train?" he asked quietly, suspicious of what Soubi would say.
"Well, it can train your tongue further, and get use to the feeling of something in your mouth, so you aren't surprised when a real battle happens again." He was still licking the candy very slowly, then put the entire thing in his mouth to suck on.
Ritsuka couldn't help but blush at the gesture. "You should do such embarrassing things in a place like this." He then walked away from Soubi and tried to go and look at the other sweets around the store.
'Ritsuka, cute and innocent in so many ways. Will there come a day when the feeling I share will become mutual?' he thought to himself as he continued to follow and watch him.
"Ne, Soubi are you willing to buy something for me?" Ritsuka asked.
Soubi bent down and smiled. "Of course, anything to see Ritsuka smile." He gently took Ritsuka's hand and gave him some money to go and spend it on whatever he wished.
"Arigato Soubi!" Bouncy again now, he went off to go buy some things he had seen before that he thought looked good, coming back a few minutes later with a bag full of goodies. He then gave the remaining change back to Soubi.
"Have you had your fun then, Ritsuka?" he asked, receiving a slow nod from Ritsuka in reply. He waited for Ritsuka to start walking before he too headed for the door. Once they were outside and walking back towards where Ritsuka lived, Soubi asked, "Did you buy a lollypop to train with Ritsuka?"
"B-baka, I thought you were kidding about that." Soubi pulled another lollypop from his pocket. He placed it in Ritsuka's hand and then gave him a small kiss on the forehead.
"Don't forget okay." Soubi smiled again.
"Soubi, because of you I will probably never think of candy in the same way anymore!" Ritsuka grumbled out as the two then headed back, hand in hand.
