ok here is a better version of the other one i posted. quincy is a young scientist and a member of the strawhat pirates
appearance: quincy is a short 16 year old boy with white hair, geeky glasses and a dark brown safari hat. in height he is taller than chopper but shorter than luffy. he bares strong resemblance to how koby looked in the beginning of one piece.
personality: quincy is a very brilliant and passionate scientist, for his personality i took inspiration from characters like donnatello from ninja turtles and peter parker from spiderman. he gets very enthusiastic when he is inspired or has an idea for an invention. quincy sees intelligence as a privelege that should be treated with respect and will be disgusted with people like ceasar or judge , who would use science for heinous experimemts. quincy hopes to surpass vegapunk and take his place, he wants use his science to make the world a better place.
biography: my idea for his backstory, goes like this. quincy is biologically 16 years old, but his age is actualy 96. before the timeskip he was a 80 year old man, he had a 40 year old son and a 10 year old granddaughter. he became a target of the govenment because he was getting to close to knowing the truth, and his son and granddaughter ended up dying but he survived the assassination attempt. of course he was devasted at heartbreaken at his familys death but he made sure not to let grief consume him. he made it his mission to make sure the government cant do this to anyone else. before he did anything he had to help himself first, quincy wasnt gonna get anywhere as a old weak man so he made himself young. seeking out the help of jewerly bonnie fruit power combined with a machine he created , quincy made himself 15 years old. he had to make sure he was young enough to not be noticed by the government. quincy had a bit of self doubt do to his loneliness and his dream, he felt that it was to crazy to surpass vegapunk until he met monkey d luffy and the strawhat pirates. seeing there dreams and how crazy they were.
powers and abilities: as stated quincy is a very brillaint scientist, his intelligence right now rivals judge, sanji father. he specializes in machinery amd chemicals. he has the logia liquid metal mercury fruit , giving him an unlimited access to metal to use to create weapons. he can also make upgrades and weapons for the strawhats. quincy stores his weapons in his body using his fruit. he is skilled in creating machine weapons and chemical weapons.
relationships with the crew: the ones quincy is close with are luffy, nami, usopp, robin, chopper, and franky. he often uses luffy as a test subject for a device which luffy hhappily obliges to, he also enjoys studying luffy. he finds ways to help nami prepare for a big storm . he makes supplies for chopper to help with his medic equipment. he makes a device using robin help that translates poneglyphs. and often works with usopp and franky with their weapons amd machines.
