PROLOG
I had to get her. I had to protect her. I didn't know why but I just knew that I had to protect that fiery red headed girl. But as I ran it felt like she was slipping away. "Jace" she said, "Jace wake up." I saw her gently slipping away from me and I knew know that no matter how hard I tried I wouldn't be able to bring her back….
"DUDE! JACE WAKE UP!" Screamed Emmet.
"What the hell do you want Emmet?" I said irritably
"Well Esme told me to wake you up for breakfest she made you pancakes." He said
"Oh great! I love her cooking but let's not forget that I'm the only human in this house and I can't eat for everyone!" Jace said groaning.
"Hey don't forget Nessie." Emmet said.
"Dude she likes blood better." Jace said.
"That's why she's a true vampire just like the rest of us." Emmet said grinning widely.
And with that said Jace and Emmet went down stairs to see the mess…
