The Happiest I Have Ever Been

I Gru am now the happiest that I ever been

I spent year after year with my heart beating inside my chest feeling it pump blood throughout my body and into my vital organs

I acted like everything was normal and everyone around me left me alone and had to believe me

But really inside my heart it was hollow despite the fact that it was beating

I never knew I was so lonely I knew I was but I tried to convince myself otherwise

If someone told me years ago that I would end up adopting three cute looking little girls

And letting them live in my home I would have laughed in all those people's faces

I wouldn't have even cared if I hurt their feelings

But now I wouldn't have it any other way for the short time those girls stayed at my home

The grew on me so much so that I was more happy to adopt them

And now we are officially a family and my home is now full of laugher joy and good cheer

These kids keep me on my toes much like the minions do

But like I said before I Gru wouldn't have it any other way

Those girls complete me and push me so I can be the best father I can be
