Sans furiously tinkered with the machine. It had seemed like it had been only yesterday that it had happened, yet it had been well over ten years. He yawned, and checked his watch: 03:13. Man, he really should go to bed.
"BEEP,BEEP,BEEP."
Sans darted over to the device, and agitatedly checked he interface. YES! Finally! A signal from another reality. If it wasn't Kisuke then he wasn't a skeleton. He'd finally figured out the notes and blueprints he'd left behind.
This was a landmark event. If they could establish a stable connection, they could break down the barriers between realities and space-time itself!
Calm down, this is what happened last time, the skeleton reminded himself.
At that moment the machine decided to whirr, shaking loudly and flashing bright red lights. "No no no no no No NO!" sans yelled as he desperately tried to stabilise it, to no avail. Knowing it was a lost cause, the skeleton rushes around the lab, grabbing everything he could - the blueprints, the album, the badge, especially the badge, as a rift in reality opened up, swallowing the house, sans and all his sleeping family. Sans' last thought as they entered a different universe: "Tori's gonna kill me."
