It was a cold winters night in adventure bay the a thick blanket of snow had formed over the ground it was the night before Christmas and all the pups were out cold but ryder was up talking to jake "hey jake do you and everest want to come down to the look out for Christmas tomorrow "sure ryder everest has gotten every one a present i mean every one my closet is almost full of presents "ryder laughed a little to loud at jakes joke which in turn woke up marshall as marshall stepped into ryders room he looked around trying to find where the sound came from but to no avail he trotted back to his respected bed and dozed off again five or six hours later the sun poked its bright head above the clouds as all the pups woke up chase shot up and bolted to the kitchen where jake ryder and katie were all sitting drinking coffee and talking about some of the old mission that the team had done as the pups walked in ryder said good morning one by one and said its time to eat breakfast they had dog friendly cake and pancakes for breakfast after that they went out side and played chase used his launcher to shoot snowballs while marshall used his water cannon to build a ice slide which everyone loved as it got later in the day all the pups went inside and got ready to open presents
rocky was the first to open his he got a drone and a new tug o war rope
Marshall got a new paint job on his fire truck and a new helemt
Then came skye she got a rc helicopter and new flying goggles
Chase got a new pup pack and got a new addon to his car a grappling hook to stop poeple
Zuma got a scuba tank and a clock that looks like a old diving helmet
Rubble got more dog food and a new bed
All the pups got everest a gift but she wanted to save them for later
As they were cleaning up chase and zuma were scheming to prank marshall and everest after they were done they used rockys drone to hover over head with a string and attached to the string was miseltoe rocky hoverd over everest and marshall as they bent over to pick up the same can they bumbed heads "ouch that hurt" marshall wheeled back at the unexpected blow to his head when he slipped and fell on his back causing everest to land on his chest as rocky lowerd the drone next to them he said "hey love birds guess what thats miseltoe"marshall looked confused then his eyes widend with fear was everest actually about to kiss him rocky moved the drone back and forth to make the plant hit everest in the head she finally and told rocky to stop then looked down at marshall got up and walked away marshall looked doleful chase and zuma hurried over asking marshall if she had kissed him he looked up and said no they were worried about their friend the next couple of days he barely came out of his room he would blare his music and every now and then be crying his head off about everest what he didnt know is that it was all a cover up the whole team was working with everest to get marshall to feel like she didnt love him and then drop the i love you to nuke on him some other day as marshall was weeping his eyes out katie walked into his room and sat next to him "hey buddy whats wrong" marshall manged to choke out "everest dosent love me "this almost made katie break out into tears but she held firm and kept talking "listen im no love doctor im just a normal doctor but theres a pup out there that will love you to you just have to know where to look "marshall had stopped crying"tha thanks katie" as katie walked out she said no problem anything for a fellow friend when he walked out of his room he went down stairs and started eating. rubble was surprised at how fast marshall ate his food he became woried he would lose his bowl eating record as katie drove up to jakes mountain to talk to everest a moose was standing in the road she honked and it stared at her than ran off into the woods when she got to jakes cabin everest was sitting on the couch with jake katie sat down next to them "okay everest you gotta blow the whistle he is so depressed about how you dont love him" without looking away from the tv she answered "but i do love him"katie replide sternly "but he dosent know that"this time everest looked away and spoke up above the tv"okay fine I'll blow the whistle and drop the bomb try to get him up at the cliffs okay katie "katie put this into her phone"okah cliffs got it" later that afternoon katie walked over to the lookout and started to talk to ryder after a while marshall came down all dressed up but with a gloom over his face as they were driving to the cliffs katie stopped st the clinic she walked out with a large vile contaning blood "we need to stop by the lab to get this blood tested"as they drove to the lab marshall was in the back seat looking at the sea when they got there katie told marshall to wait there when she came back out she got in the car and drove to the cliffs when they got there marshall was confused"are you going to kill me then throw me off the cliff if so get it over with anything could be better than my life right now " i wouldnt be so sure marshall as the whole team walked over the hill marshall was still working things out then it hit him they were worried so they brought him here cause this is his favorite spot to hide when he is sad or angry the whole team confessed to helping everest marshall glared at them then walked away into the forest as he walked deeper into the forest he heard foot steps geting louder and louder when a heavy impact hit his side and knocked him down incapacitating him he couldnt move he could hear somthing circling him but couldnt move to defend himself as he said his final last words the animal that had knocked him down started laughing it was everest she had tricked him into the woods to get him alone
Now as the strolled throught the woods they chatted about whats was going on then marshall couldnt take he stopped and gulped and sputtered out " ever everest do you love me" Everest was shocked by this she stopped and turned around and slowly walked towards him and finally answered" yes i do love marshall " as she tackled him and started kissing marshall broke away and asked why she didnt kiss him at the tower she replide"it took all my mental will not to choke you with my kisses but i did it and in the end it was all worth it as they resumed kissing they lost track of time and fell asleep in each others embrace when they woke up they were in the middle of the woods with marshall thermal blanket over them he got up and looked at his watch he got everest up and got dressed behind a tree with everest behind another one they got to marshalls truck and drove to the tower when they got there chase was outside waiting "hey guys have a nice night" marshall gave chase a death stare when they went into the tower all the pups ryder katie and jake looked at them and continued to do what they were doing before they walked in marshall and everest had sat down on the couch and started watching tv and once again fell asleep this time everest fell asleep in marshalls embrace
