Prologue
Once upon a time in the magical land of Derp, there lived a whale and a bucket hat. This whale and bucket hat, they were the best if friends who lived in the farthest corner of Derpatopia.
Their cabin was the best in all the land. Seeing that this land is full of queer sights and structures, it seemed only right that their house was made of wood, cedar to be precise, and was slightly lopsided to the right. The shingles roof was caving in around some places, but that was not even the highest standard of their home. The view of the wide, blue ocean brought all the equity.
The surrounding areas were just forests with a variety of trees and shrubs that contained many peculiar creatures. The animals in the land were by far the derpiest. There were groups of platypusbears that could bend water skillfully, and ligers that had the ability to shoot fireballs from their mouths. But worst of all was the Satanist gangster baseball, also known as the most feared creation of Derptopia. Due to many dangers and beings in their neighborhood, Whale and Bucket Hat don't leave their home much. This baseball is not like any other. The baseball makes fun of them because of their religion.
One day while working in the garden outside of their house Jesus whale brought up a peculiar question. "What if our whole life was a lie and there was a person controlling us like a puppet master."
Bucket turned her head to look at Whale and replied, "Well that's a weird question. Where did you come up with that idea?"
Whale didn't reply and just continued to tend to the flowers garden. "Ugh. These weeds are so ugly," Bucket spoke aloud to no one in particular while pulling out the horrid roses.
Still not answering, Whale hummed a little tune she had been evolving for the past few days. Her hum evolved into quiet singing, then soon to a louder voice. "Adventure time. Come on grab your friends. We'll go to very distant lands," the few words she created went back to a hum for the rest of the tune. Bucket listened in the background, enjoying the song, nodding her head in time to the humming. Everything became silent when there was a snap in the woods; a shadow appeared.
Okay starting with a cliffy- should be good. Alright I know what you're thinking, "this is so childish and retarded," but you need to remember things aren't always as they seem. (Hint hint)
As the story goes along you may notice a ton of references from anime and TV shows (ex- adventure time). That's why it's under miscellaneous. And clarification WE DO NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM OWN ANY OF THE SHOWS WE REFERENCE.
And I do mean 'we' my friends and I wrote this. Olivia is NaLulover24 and Katie is Destiel21(check their stories out). However each of us is writing in a different point of view. There will be three main characters: Whale, bucket hat, and the thing in the woods. I will be working on the thing in the wood's POV while Olivia is Whale and Katie is Bucket Hat. I will only be posting the thing in the woods POV on my profile so if you want to read the others go to Olivia or Katie's profile.
