I don't own bleach, sorry. If I did... It'd probably have some more yuri elements. Besides, I prefer reading it and creating things like this. Way to go, Tite Kubo! Warning: asinine Ichigo and fem!fluff
Candy colored lip gloss,
Shining blue eyes,
Sand underneath your toes,
The sun that shines so bright...
The poet sat still, gazing through the half-dead tree leaves. The grass burned beneath her skin, but she didn't seem to kind. At least it's not on fire, she would tell herself. Since lately, fires had become very common. Burning when the slightest bit of heat would catch aflame. Which is another thing she didn't wish to think about.
A burning candle beside your head,
As midnight's darkness consumes
Mascara coated lashes rest upon your cheek,
Closing to a rest,
Closing to sleep
She continued to scribble, tearing up every other piece of paper. Why couldn't she come up with anything? Instead, she starts to scribble a pair of bunnies. Not even a minute later, sensing Ichigo's presence. Although, she chose to Ignore it instead. Which in turn, appeared to annoy the strawberry.
"Oi, Rukia!" his voice almost echoed, only becoming more intensified by the heat. "RUUUKIAAA!" his attempts to gain her attention, failing. Until... He grabbed her notebook.
"Kyaa!" The brunette screams, tearing the book from his hands. But it was too late, he already read what she wrote. "Baka!" slamming the notebook onto his head, she storms off.
A head of dark red hair,
The shade of autumn leaves
"What are you even trying to write!?" Ichigo mocked, grasping for the notebook once more. "Talking about a girl like this..." taking hold if the red book, he held it just an inch out of reach. A smirk making its way on his lips, then hold the book up a little higher.
"Give it back!" Rukia shrieked, trying to pry it from his hands once it got into reach. Instead, she fell- landing on top of him. "You ass! Give me notebook!" standing back up, Rukia re-claimed her beloved notebook. Although, the ginger contined to smirk, somehow finding a way to make this out to be funny. "What'syour problem!?" after habing enough of this, she walks off again.
Hot air ptesed against her sweat-slick skin. Sweat that runs down her skin and pooling around her feet. Although, probably not that dramatic. And once again, she finds herself slamming into another body. This time, she runs into Orihime. When I say ran I mean RAN.
"KYYYAAA!"
Sea-foam clips,
Resting in autumn hair
A smile as bright as the sun itself,
Tears that shine like crystal
"I'm so sorry!" the red head begins to apologize profusely, not planning to stop. "I'm SOOO SORRY!" until Rukia stops her, places a hand on her shoulder.
With a smile, she's says 'don't be', then, gives Orihime her most reassuring smile. "Stop worrying too much, you'll age faster." she mentally slaps herself, taking her in her out of character behaviour. "Ah-I mean.." at that moment, she received the friendliest of hugs from her red-haired friend. Although, it only lasted but a second. Releasing, they both bid their goodbyes. Orihime walks away, back turned towards Rukia. In her path, a pink notebook sprawls out onto the pavement. On the page appeared to be writing, the brunette slowly picks it up to look.
Black raven, black raven
With eyes the dark of night
Black raven, black raven
Hidden away from the sorrows of time
Your smile on those lips
The aroma that is your scent
Black raven, black raven
Surrounded by snow
A thoughful smile rested gently on her lips, after biting back a soft chuckle that escaped anyways. She knew who wrote it, but it still amazes her after seeing for herself. Since when was Orihine so obsessed with ravens and snow? But somehow, she already knew.
That was fun to write. Well, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I had!
