"Alright, I think that's everything." Mark insisted, coming down from the top of the Mech. "It all seems to be up and running."
"Great." Ryan insisted, disconnecting and heading toward the control panels while Harris typed some things into his tablet while Veracity commented.
"Now we can get back to finding Traeger."
"Any leads?" Ryan asked, looking over Harris' shoulder to see his tablet.
"Well, there is a blinking on this screen." Spyder told them, and the four of them went over to see the tracker that was on Spyder's panel.
"That's a red blip. It's a red ooze monster." Veracity explained as they scrambled back into their positions.
"Mech-Execute!"
••••••••••••••••••
"Spyder, X-Weapon!" Ryan yelled before quickly holding his arms up, deflecting the monster with the shields, wincing slightly due to exertion.
Spyder learned over, shoving his hand into the arm cannon, and thrusting forward as Ryan leaned, letting the weapon on the front of the Mech light up.
The light went forward, and hit the monster in the chest, causing it to explode into red ooze and evaporate into the ground.
"Another monster down!" Spyder exclaimed happily, putting his feet on the desk and crossing his arms behind his head.
"Feet off the desk." Veracity insisted. "Last time you did that, you set off a missile."
Spyder took his feet off the desk, presumably remembering the incident, and Mark came down from the top of the Mech.
"Good job, little bro." He insisted, going to high five him , but when Ryan disconnected from the robot and turned, Mark had to take a step back.
Ryan's eyes were bright red.
"Dude? Can you hear us?" Mark asked, backing up slowly while Veracity started to walk around him in order to get the weapons designed to stop Ryan.
Ryan snapped his head to Veracity, before looking up at the ceiling, his eyes flashing blue for a split second as he ripped one of the computers from the desk, throwing it toward Veracity, before running out of the room.
Veracity ducked as the computer flew past her, before pushing her glasses back on her face and grabbing one of the weapons on the rack.
"Mark, Harris, go look for damage at the head. Spyder, grab a weapon and come with me. If he ran, he couldn't have gone far."
Spyder nodded, grabbing one of the weapons and followed Veracity out of the room while Mark grabbed his tool box.
"Let's go, Nerdo." Mark insisted, opening the elevator, as Harris came in and pressed the button.
•••••••••••••••
"So, what are we gonna do when we find him?" Spyder whispered as they turned a corner, weapon held to his chest.
"Shoot him and take him to the med bay until Mark and Harris can fix whatever is wrong with him."
"But won't that hurt him?"
"It's just restraints that hinder his powers, Spyder. Leo wouldn't make something that would hurt him."
"We don't even know where he is, V."
"Focus on the task at hand." She told him, and right before she rounded the corner, shot the gun, causing a voice to let out a angered cry as they fell to the ground, and then turned on her Mech-link. "We got Peanut."
•••••••••••••
"They got Ryan." Harris told Mark as the older one looked up with a wrench held securely in his mouth.
"Good." He mumbled, before taking the wrench out, and gently securing a bolt as the part of the head glowed and came back to life. "He should be back to normal. It looks like the red ooze monster loosened some of the bolts, allowing Traeger enough room for access."
"But he should free Ryan now?"
"Yep."
•••••••••••••
When Mark and Harris came down to the med bay, they were shocked to find Ryan, now completely fine, tangled in weighted restraints with Spyder on the floor.
Mark turned to look at Veracity, who was laughing.
"I'm waiting for them to figure it out."
