Author's Note: First time ever attempting a one shot fic, was done in one sitting. Just a little something for you guys to read/have while I'm away at Basic Training and while I still work on the next Fly on the Wall chapter. Enjoy.
Snow quietly fell covering a small city in a blanket of white. Sitting alone on a park bench in the middle of town sat a small girl wearing a black trench coat and a purple striped scarf. Her purple hair left uncovered save for the snow that had fallen on it. Her amber eyes once again read over the note that had been shoved in her skool locker earlier that day.
Gaz let out a soft sigh,, there was no mistaking that Zim had been the one that had written and left the note in her locker. But why on earth did he want to meet her here and now. GAz didn't have long to try and figure it out however because soon Zim's voice came from behind.
"I see you have followed my instructions little Gaz. Very good."
Gaz let out a deep sigh and spun around to face Zim, her usual glare darker than normal, "What do you want Zim?"
Zim was standing not far behind the park bench, a tattered scarf wrapped around his own neck, a malicious grin spread across his face, "There has been something troubling me about you for the past few months now."
Gaz didn't like the way Zim was staring at her, she liked even less the way he had said you in that sentence. It wasn't quite as demeaning as other times when he would talk to her, but still something was off. "Well if there's something about me you don't like Zim get over it. If that's all you want I'm going home."
With that Gaz walked past Zim and started heading off in the direction of her home. Suddenly Zim's hand grabbed her arm and spun her around holding her close to Zim's face, his grin gone but that look in his eyes unchanged.
"Zim didn't say you could leave. Zim is not finished with you yet."
Gaz glared at Zim, "Zim if you don't let me go you're asking for a nightma –mmph"
Gaz didn't even manage to get to her threat before Zim firmly pressed his lips against hers. Gaz's eyes went wide, what just happened? Was Zim seriously kissing her? Why was he kissing her? Then to her own and Zim's amazement, she began kissing back, a spark of euphoria going up and down her spine. Who cared why Zim was kissing her, at the moment she was happy.
