She knew it was not her place to ask, but Mitzy was very curious as to why Young Master was so happy.
Mitzy had been working for Master and Mistress Malfoy for years now, and when Young Master Scorpius was born, he worked for him too. She knew it was a naughty thought, but she liked Young Master best of all.
She felt protective of him sometimes, especially when he was sad and she could hear him talking to his owl when she came to bring him tea. Young Master took good care of his owl, but he trusted Mitzy to take care of it when he was at Hogwarts and the owl was home delivering letters.
And now Young Master was out of school, and he was very happy, and Mistress was happy too, occasionally teasing Master about what sounded to Mitzy like 'weasel E' and 'ranger's daughter' and 'rose'.
Perhaps, Mitzy thought, Mistress and Young Master were talking about a forest garden or something or the sort.
