Hey guys! I know that I already have a PJO fanfic going, but this idea just came to me! I am currently updating Sad, Beautiful, Tragic so no need to worry. I know this is not a real Greek Myth (it might be but when I searched it all that came up was nail polish and perfume) but this is a fanfiction, so it doesn't matter. Well, to me at least. Ok so for this chapter, the italicized words are Flora and the regular ones are Fauna and bold are both of them. Enjoy! BTW, this is just the prologue.

Prologue
No One's POV
When you look at nature, what is it you see?
Do you see animals frolicking through an endless green world?
Or flowers and trees sprouting out of the earth?
Well, both of these make up nature.
It just depends on how you look at it.
Some think that nature needs to be carefully watched,
But others think it's tough enough to look after itself.
Neither of these are 100% true.
Nature is delicate and can be easily destroyed.
But it also needs some room to breathe.
We need to protect it,
But also let it grow.
Everyday,
Every moment,
Nature is at war.
It fights natural things, such as rot and decay,
But it also fights us.
But not just mere humans,
Old myths.
Every hundred years,
There are two demigods.
Twins in fact.
That hold all balance of nature in their hands.
They can choose to preserve it,
Or destroy it.
These twins have special abilities over nature.
One has the power of growth,
And the other has the power of animals.
These twins are very powerful.
Without them, the world would have fallen a long time ago.
These twins are spawn of Demeter,
The goddess of the harvest.
These twins of Demeter are known all over.
Some know them as good omens,
Some know that them being there could bring possible destruction.
No matter how you look at them,
Whether it's good,
Or bad,
You'll know,
Things are about to get interesting.
Now, I'm sure your wondering why we are telling you this.
The answer is quite simple.
The twins have come back.
And we are here to tell you who they are.
But first, we must tell you who we are.
I'm Fauna,
I'm Flora.
And we are twins.
But not just any twins.
We are quite special.
If you haven't guessed by now,
Then your no child of Athena.
Fauna!
What? It's true!
That's not what we were talking about!
Ok, ok! Don't get your vines in a knot...
