Title: "His Sorrowful Tune turned to a Happy Melody"

Summary: The red flame is bright from the pain-filled melody, A depressing glow radiating off, Illuminating judgments.

Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn! I do not own any of the wonderful characters, either!

A single set of cords,

Repeating bland-fully in the eerie silence,

Echoing inside the empty corridors of the soul.

It repeats itself,

Hesitant at first,

But confident later on,

As the cycle of which it was created upon continues.

Betrayal,

Abandonment,

Loneliness,

They merely raise the volume of the sorrowful tune.

Sadness,

Mistrust,

Worry,

Adds on and on to the repetitive cycle.

The red flame is bright from the pain-filled melody,

A depressing glow radiating off,

Illuminating judgments.

Time goes on,

And people move on,

Becoming new except for the scars that were left behind,

The ones that no one can see,

Those that only he can tell are there.

Meeting new people,

But never fully trusting them,

Until that one that comes along,

And somehow changes the single set of cords.

It doesn't repeat as often,

Just a soft hum of reminiscence at the quiet times.

Friendship,

Loyalty,

Companionship,

Brings wonderful sounds to the now cheerful chorus.

Happiness,

Trust,

Believing,

Adding to the lively tones of the melody.

The red flame is now wild yet contained,

A bright light to brighten the world for himself,

And for the ones that count on him as well.

AN: This may seem kind of, uh, strange, but I think it fits. XD If you couldn't tell, it's about Gokudera and how he was kind of, um, different before he met Tsuna. Then he changed and such… yeah…
