"Its okay." Mannys voice echoed in his head. His index finger ran up and down her arm. She was sleeping on his chest. He could feel her breathe in and out. He felt terribly guitly for what he'd done to Ash. But Manny, oh Manny. She made him feel special, Ashley didnt.
Flashback
"Craig?" Manny called. He could her the click of her heels against the concrete.
"Not now Manny."
"Whats wrong?" Manny wouldnt give up
"I screwed up. again and again and again........." Craig admmited
"Im sure you didnt. You know that song you sang today in the gym?"
"You heard that?"
"Yes, and if it were for me. I would have been happy for months.... forever"
Craigs eyes widend. Manny heard the song he wrote for Ash. To tell her he loved her. But Ashley thinks it was a big lie! But Manny didnt think so, she would of been happy. Forever.
"Wow, its like a video or something." Manny asked amazed
"Yeah..."
"You wrote that song right here?"
Craig nodded
"Could you play it for me?"
"Uh sure."
Craig started to play as Manny sat down next to him on the Manny soon stopped him and took away the guiter.
"Craig Your the best.. and......" Manny started to say
"And what?" Craig was hesitent
"If Ashley cant see that, she doesnt deserve you." Manny said as she leaned in. She was hesitent at first. But once she pressed her lips agaisnt his. Craig pulled away, but then let Manny kiss him again. Craig reached up, but that stopped
"Its okay." Manny said
End of flashback
As Craig held Manny in his arms. He could feel her heart beating. He knew what he did to Ashley was wrong. But with Manny he was different. Someone he wanted to be.
He felt Manny stir and wipe her eyes
"What time is it?" She asked yawning
"Around 1." Craig answered.
"Oh great." Manny mumbled. Sitting up out of bed.
"You dont have to go. Stay here." Craig said
"I have a curfew. I would be so dead." Manny responed
"Tell them your at Emmas"
"But what about Joey?" Manny asked finishing getting dressed.
"Oh yeah. I forgot." Craig said laying back down on the couch
"I'll see you later." Manny said as she pressed her lips agaisnt Craigs.
"I'll call you." Manny said opening the garge door.
"Bye Manny!" Craig leaned over. Manny smiled as she shut the door behind her.
Craig sighed as he laid back down. Mannys face, her lips, her hair, her eyes, her voice ran through his mind. He knew it should be Ashleys. But he couldnt deny what he felt about Manny anymore. He had feeling for Manny, a lot of them.
The next day was the hardest. He walked up to the steps of Degrassi, Hearing Mannys voice.
"Craig! I left you like a zillion messages. I missed you."
He called? I didnt know anyone called
"Manny im not really sure what happened." I started to say when Ash walked up next to us
"Manny can I talk to Craig for a second?" Ashley asked not even looking at Manny
Manny nodded as Ash and I walked to the wall
"Me and Paige had a long talk over what happend the other day. I over reacted. I was hoping you would give it another chance?"
"You want me back?"
"More than anything." Ash said wrapping her arms around me. "I love you."
I stared into Mannys eyes. The pain wrenched inside me as I saw a tear fall down her beautiful cheek
"I love you,too" I said. I didnt want to. I wanted to tell Manny that. To tell her she was the one for me. But I knew it wasnt right. It wasnt right to do that to Ashley.
