Their first year together was unbelievable. Fanny hadn't taken her to the bar after the audition for DOGS; instead the couple spent time together. She started falling in love with him. Fanny's eclectic taste in decorating was moved to the guest house to make room for their growing family. Hubbell put the crib together in Fanny's old room; the baby was due in mid December. The Christmas tree was already set up in the living room. It was tastefully decorated, and they enjoyed taking pictures in front of it. She placed the pictures in the new photo album and came to the ones with her and Hubbell in front of the tree. He stood behind her, arms wrapped around her large abdomen. Both had smiles on their faces. The next pictures were similar.
The scene switched to a hospital room. She held their newborn daughter. The baby was tiny, and she already had her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Hubbell sat on the bed, his arm around Michelle's shoulders. They shared their first Christmas together. Michelle hated substituting hot chocolate for her coffee, but it didn't matter. She made an old family favorite for breakfast. Her parents came over, and even Scotty was there with wife number… it didn't matter. They were together and incredibly happy.
The next few years flew by. A few more children joined their big sister. Michelle returned to performing on Broadway. Hubbell and the kids were in the front row every night.
"Michelle? Earth to Michelle!" Talia was in her face.
"What? Talia…"
"So what are we going to do for your birthday next year?"
"Buy a time turner and relive the top 5. We may actually remember what number one is."
"You're joking!"
"Of course I am; that stuff only works in the movies….. We need to find a better town in the area and live it up."
