Chapter 1The day after graduation was awful. Lizzie, Miranda, and Gordo all knew what was going to happen next. Each friend was going to have just one summer together, and then they were going to be hundreds of miles apart. Lizzie McGuire started in interest in fashion designing, Miranda Sanchez in music, and Gordo, of course, got accepted into the most prestige film arts school. Unfortunately, all of those high schools were spread out across America. Lizzie was going to spend her next four years in California along with her family. Miranda was going to board in Massachusetts, and Gordo and his family were moving to Florida.
"You guys, this summer has to be perfect! We're going to spend every waking moment with each other. Wait, none of you guys have camp right?" Lizzie asked.
"Uh, I'm really sorry, but I do. I thought you knew! You know, orchestra camp for my violin?" Miranda replied.
"Yeah, me too, Lizzie. I have to do this movie on the Caribbean for summer homework. So, I have to move to Florida in about a week." Gordo answered.
"Gordo! Fine. Wait! Does this mean that we only have a week together? Why didn't you guys tell me you were going to leave?" Said Lizzie.
"Well, uh, I thought you knew!" Both Gordo and Miranda stated.
The three friends put their smoothies away and sadly left the Digital Bean, their favorite hangout place. They had planned to meet at the mall the next day, but all of them knew their friendship was deteriorating…
