He saw the light.
He was so far away, by the river, it was amazing how the light could reach this far.
He grinned happily and began running down the path home, laughing while doing so. He remembered his friend telling him that the grown-ups used to do this too, back when they were little kids, too. He was always happy to see that light; it let him know they cared about him and loved him very much.
His feet pounded on the ground, he ran with a huge smile on his face.
The light was closer now; it was like he was running towards a star. He laughed harder upon reaching the door to his home.
He opened the door and wiped his wet shoes on the rug. Removing them and placing them beside two larger pairs of shoes, he ran into the kitchen.
The light stopped flashing. She had turned off the light. She looked pretty, with long lemon blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.
He looked to see the man sitting by the table. He looked just like him, with the golden blonde hair and golden yellow eyes. The woman sat beside her husband, and they both smiled upon seeing his cute chubby face.
He grinned a toothy grin, his big golden eyes gleaming. He finally spoke in a happy voice,
"Hi, Mom! Hi, Dad!"
I think you guys can guess who the child was and who his parents are. I kept thinking the FMA OVA about the kids, and I decided to create one of my own, only with one kid, and in the alchemy world instead of the 'real' world like in the movie.
