Cat sat down beside Robbie with her trau at lunch time.

She smiled and took a bite of her grilled cheese.

Robbie smiled back slightly but the smile faded fast as he started thinking about his cancer.

"Are you okay?" she asked him putting her sandwhich down.

"What?" he asked caught off guard.

"You look sad... are you alright?" she asked again picking up her grilled cheese and dipping it into the chicken noodle soup.

"No." he thought aloud and looked at her reaction and quickly changed that. "...I mean, yes, of corse I am!"

He wiggled his spoon around in his soup bowl awkwardly and a lot of it spilled over and onto his lunch tray but he ignored it.

"Robbie," Cat looked at him worried.

Robbie looked anywhere but into her eyes, which were staring directly at him, but finally gave up and forced to look he directly in the eyes.

"Fine... Cat-" he started and looked at her.

She kept starting at him with her worried little brown eyes waiting for her answer and hoping it was a good one.

"Cat, I have cancer." he told her and looked down.

Cat didn't seem to be shocked.

Robbie even realized, she didn't even seem suprised.

He looked back up at her and raised his eyebrows confused.

"I know," she almost whispered.

It didn't even have to be asked, you could tell by the tone of her voice that she was sad but she deffinately wasn't suprised at all.

"Wh- Andre?" he realized and asked aloud.

Cat just nodded not knowing if she could get another word out but she did.

"I kind of noticed that you were gone all last week and when Andre said that he "didn't know anything" I made him tell me. I'm sorry Robbie." she cried and hugged him tight.

Robbie hugged her back and just laughed.

"I just didn't want you to know. I didn't want anyone to know because well, I just don't want anyone worrying about me, but I guess not telling anyone made people worry even more!" he chucked.

Cat sat up and looked at him. "Of corse I would worry about you," she admitted to him.

She bent over and kissed him on the cheek. Robbie blushed.

"I have a cancer check up tomorrow," he said.

"Can I come?" she asked leaning her head gently on his shoulder.

Robbie chucked again. "I was going to ask you, but I wasn't quite sure how to," he admitted. "Yes, you can come with me tomorrow Cat."

They both smiled at each other and then the bell rang and they quickly grabbed their trays and went off to class.

The next day Cat skipped school to go with Robbie to see about his cancer.

Robbie sat nervously in the waiting room and Cat couldn't help but slip her hand into his and reasure him there was nothing to worry about, but she didn't even know that herself.

Inside she was freaking out just like him, but it really didn't seem like that on the outside.

Robbie was suprised how brave she was being for him and when the nurse called, "Shapero, ...Robbie Shapero," they both jumped.

Cat kept a tight grip on Robbie's hand and Robbie did the same as they followed the nurse to the room.
