Hey! I know that some of you don't like short stories, only the mini-fanfic-novels that people post. I'm one of 'em. Sadly, I'm no good at that unless I have characters that I have made up myself, and I cant put that stuff on here (its called fanfiction for a reason!). So I'm going to be putting a bunch of short stories on here, as separate stories, because I know how annoying it can be to flip through (weird word, isn't it?) 50 chapters of mini stories just to get to the newest one. I like using songs for inspiration, so all of these are based on songs off my iPod. I love shuffle! I know that Beckett wouldn't have thought this so early in the show. But it was fun to write anyways. See y'all (another funny word. It is a word, isn't it?) later! (Oh, and keep in mind that sometimes the song has almost NOTHING to do with the story)
Kate looked at him. They used to be so important to each other, but his job was too important to him to give it up for her. She could understand it, she wouldn't give her job up for him either, but it didn't make the heartbreak any easier. When she saw him again, she couldn't help but kiss him. He was so perfect, so handsome, but what being partners with Castle gave her was knowledge, knowledge that even if he had stayed, it wouldn't have worked out. He didn't have the chemistry with her that she had with Castle. He was the one, not Sorenson. They would be together, eventually. When she was ready.
